Founder & CEO of Fork
Design and internet whizz and millennial. Known online as "Flypig”, this Nankai University graduate was half of the duo that produced Fanpo (Antiwave), a podcast series on foreign and Chinese media that won the 2005 Deutsche Welle's Global Best Podcast. Lin was also chief designer and founder of design brand Da Code; was responsible for launching Youku Buzz marketing programs targeted at Western advertisers and internet users. In 2009 he joined e-retailer startup Light In The Box, which later went global and got listed. In January 2015, he left the position of vice-president to start Fork.

Co-founder and Group CFO of Orami, Co-founder and Managing Director of Xurya
Gusmantara Ekamukti Himawan, known as Eka, holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, USA. However, he chose a career in finance instead, beginning as a research associate at Independence Capital Asset Partners. After becoming an analyst there, he moved on to become an investment banker at Barclays for two years. He left Barclays in 2012 to co-found Bilna with fellow Purdue alumni Ferry Tenka and Jason Lamuda. He was the CFO of Bilna that merged with Moxy to become Orami. Eka is now the CFO and executive vice chairman of Orami.

Co-founder and CMO of Trax Center
Before founding the smart vehicle tracking app Trax Center, Hendy Wijaya had worked in the automotive industry for five years, from distributing spare parts to managing repair shops and car rentals. Based on his work experience in the industry, Hendy felt that the vehicle tracking systems that were available in the Indonesian market were inferior. He saw an opportunity to develop a better vehicle tracking solution and created Trax Center. The smart vehicle tracking system was jointly developed with two friends, a software developer Hadi Darmanto and a consumer behavior analyst Ganjar Setyanegara.

Founder and President Commissioner of Kumparan
After 18 years with Indonesia’s largest online news portal Detikcom, Budiono Darsono finally retired in September 2016 as the CEO of PT Detik TV Indonesia, also known as CNN Indonesia. With just IDR 40 million in 1998, Budiono built Detikcom with the help of senior journalists, Yayan Sopyan, Abdul Rahman, Didi Nugrahadi and Calvin Lukmantara. PT Trans Corporation paid US$60 million to acquire Detikcom in 2011. Budiono had also previously worked as a journalist for various newspapers including Surabaya, Majalah Tempo, Biro Tempo and Berita Buana since 1984.

As part of the nonprofit, he helped Aldi Haryopratomo establish the social enterprise Ruma. DeWitt currently works for the World Resource Institute. He also holds master’s degrees in Development Finance and Environmental Economics from the University of London.

He also once served as general manager, independent brands, at beauty e-retailer Lefeng.com, and vice-president of D&S Media Group, as well as created PR firm REBRAND. Aka Banzhuandayu, his online moniker, Yu was born in the 1970s and is married to fellow Tiaoguoshi co-founder Xiao Hongtao.

The Business Administration graduate worked as an insurance agent for Prudential Life Assurance while still at Universitas Bina Nusantara in Indonesia. After graduating in 2005, he worked as a cost accountant and inventory manager for almost four years at a food packaging company PT Anta Tirta Kirana. He later worked as an area sales manager at PT Indo Pangan Nusantara for another four years until May 2015 when he left to join Wedlite as a co-founder. Wedlite is now part of the bigger Taralite fintech.

Upon the advice of a billionaire entrepreneur, he decided to join Google instead of Microsoft and, as a result, became financially independent within three years. Huang left Google in 2007. Before founding Pinduoduo, he started two other companies, both of which were profitable but failed to gain prestige. Looking to achieve renown, Huang started Pinduoduo in 2015.

She became a partner of Glue’s co-working venture GlueWork in 2017.Canosa has also ventured into app-based businesses like local restaurants guide WithMenu and last-mile courier company GOI Travel SL. She was named by Forbes 30 under 30 as one of Europe’s most promising young entrepreneurs.

In 2016, he combined the medicine delivery service and online interaction with doctors to create Halodoc, a healthcare platform startup backed by the Mensa Group.

Carles Ferrer Ramis, AEInnova’s Chief Scientific Officer, is a physicist with a doctoral degree and experience in microelectronics for space applications. He obtained his PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in Microelectronics and Electronic Systems, joining the Computer Science department in 1984 where he held an associate professor position until 2007. Between 2005 and 2016, Ferrer was the director of the Space Studies and CERES Research Center at the same university. He was also deputy director at the Catalan Space Studies Institute (IEEC) and is a researcher at the National Microelectronics Center's Barcelona Microelectronics Institute.
