Aditya Saputra really loves to code but is not a geek, according to his LinkedIn profile. He is a professional software developer, graduating with a degree in Information Systems in 2009. He still runs his own software development agency Smart Techno Nusantara that he founded in 2008. He joined Bernardus Sumartok and Fitri Andriani to co-found Tripvisto, becoming the CTO in May 2014.  He loves to learn all about programming, project management, IT business development and IT product development. Aditya has over seven years experience in programming, especially using PHP with CodeIgniter framework.

Ahmad Karim is the co-founder and CTO of PesanLab. Ahmad has a bachelor’s and master’s in Information Technology from Binus University. He had previously worked for two years in IT for one of Indonesia’s biggest logistics company PT Nusantara Card Semesta. He left the company in 2014 to become one of the youngest team member at PesanLab.

Alvin Evander Subagyo graduated with a bachelor’s in Information Technology and Systems from Monash University, Australia. He returned to Indonesia after graduating to work at Verena Multi Finance as an assistant to the marketing director. In 2014, he co-founded a social media voting startup Votinc, with Markus Liman Rahardja whom he met at Verena Multi Finance. Votinc only ran for a year and the two friends later created Zelos with Chris Winston while they working together at a dining event project.

During his time at Telkom University, Muhammad Mufid Luthfi was an active student; with internships at startups like Tokopedia and Kitabisa, as well as student ambassador roles with Google and Mozilla. In 2015, he co-founded two businesses: Rias Pesta, a wedding services firm based in Riau, and IDCloudHost, a web hosting service startup.Mufid graduated in 2016 with a degree in Information Systems. He is also a trainer at Google Indonesia’s GAPURA program and a business development advisor at Gamebrott, a gaming news portal.

Ramón Voces Merayo is a co-founder of AEInnova, serving as its Communications Officer. He is also a professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and the Salesians School. Voces began his career as a web developer before joining the UAB team. His major research interests are related to Internet technologies, in particular KM, UX, SEO/SEM and Accessibility. Voce holds a bachelor's degree and PhD in Information Science and a bachelor's in Telecommunication Engineering. 

Christopher Mortensen is co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at UK-based Modulous, the first end-to-end generative design and delivery solution for affordable, sustainable and modulized housing, where he has worked since 2018.  Before that, he worked for two years as technical director at engineering, sustainability and energy consultancy Hydrock. Previously, he was at Atelier Ten for ten years working as a senior engineer, an environmental design consultant, a building services engineer and a lighting designer. Mortensen’s previous posts were all in his native US: as a mechanical project engineer at Oregon-based Interface Engineering 2004-8, as a mechanical designer at Philadelphia-based Associated Engineering Consultants, and as an assistant hut master at the Appalachian Mountain Club. He holds an Executive MBA from Cass Business School in London and also studied Blockchain in 2018 at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School Mortensen is a keen public speaker and, in 2017, gave a TedX talk on ’Beyond Sustainable Design.’

Sarah Hordern is a co-founder, CFO and Group Development Leader at UK-based Modulous, the first end-to-end generative design and delivery solution for affordable, sustainable and modulized housing, where she has worked since 2019. She is simultaneously a non-executive director at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and at lenders Newbury Building Society. She was previously executive advisor at the Cambridge Code 2018-19, the first digital tool that measures subconscious drivers of behavior, and spent two years as COO at residential management company Meyrick Estate Management. From 1999 to 2014, she was a joint managing director in the area of property and finance at Newbury Racecourse, one of the UK’s largest horse-racing establishments, where she was responsible for the design and commercial negotiations for a new community of 1,500 homes. Prior to this, Hordern spent five years at PwC in corporate tax management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Oxford University in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.

An ex-Rocket Internet’s Lazada Indonesia manager, Riky Tenggara is pursuing his lifelong dream to be his own boss. The graduate in Information Technology at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia is no stranger to the startup industry.Riky was previously a business development manager and the head of sourcing at Lazada before joining aCommerce as a senior product manager. He started out as an internal auditor at Indofood and later became a business strategy analyst. Both roles gave him a sound business foundation with insider knowledge on the operations and management of companies in different industries.

A World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Rebeca Minguela founded Blink, a hotel booking app that was acquired by Groupon, and Clarity.AI, a SaaS optimizing the social impact of investments. She holds an engineering degree from UPM (Technical University of Madrid) Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación, and a master’s in Information Technology from the University of Stuttgart. After working at IBM, Siemens, the German Space Agency and BCG, she won a scholarship to pursue an MBA at Harvard Business School. She later led Santander Bank’s Global Digital Transformation Program. She was born in 1981 in Valladolid, Spain.

Kenneth Shaw is a serial entrepreneur with over 13 years of experience in the USA and Indonesia. After graduating from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Information and Computer Science, he founded ExpiTrans Inc, a B2B payment processing company. Shaw left ExpiTrans in 2010 and moved to Indonesia the following year before assuming the CTO position at social network Multiply.com in 2013. In 2016, while still based in Indonesia, Shaw established Brankas, a new payment processing platform for startups and other businesses.

Rafael de Alemar Vidal is based in Santa Caterina in Brazil, as the CTO and a co-founder of Sheetgo. He had previously worked for five years as an IT analyst in London UK. He also specialized in Business Information Technology at the South Bank University while in London. After graduating in 2011, he became a Microsoft certified professional in 2013. He returned to Brazil and worked as a systems analyst at Moon Tools and Abramar Construtora. Both companies were co-founded and run by fellow co-founder Yannick Rault van der Vaart.

Liu Long graduated from Northwestern Polytechnic University based in Xi'an in 2010. The Information and Computing Science graduate went on to the Institute of Remote Sensing Applications (IRSA) at the Chinese Academy of Sciences to pursue a PhD in Microwave Remote Sensing in 2015. He stayed on at the IRSA as a research fellow with funding support from the Youth Science Fund program under the National Natural Science Foundation of China. In 2016, he co-founded agtech startup McFly with two Wuhan University alumni who are also experts in remote sensing technology.

Cornell and Stanford-educated Fulbright scholar João Barros is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Porto and teaches in the MBA program at the Porto Business School. He has also held visiting appointments at MIT and Carnegie Mellon. He has co-founded two startups, Streambolico and Veniam, of which he is also CEO. Between 2009 and 2012, Barros served as National Director of the Carnegie Mellon Portugal Program, a five-year international partnership funded by the Portuguese Foundation of Science and Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Munich's Technical University.

Founder and CEO of Tigerobo, Chen Ye holds a PhD in Information Systems and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2004–2007). From 2007–2015, he worked in the US as research scientist in Microsoft, eBay and Yahoo. During this period, he published over 20 papers. In 2015, he returned to China. Before founding Tigerobo in 2017, he was senior vice-president of products and marketing at Meituan-Dianping, China’s largest on-demand online service provider, heading its advertisement team for three years, raising its annual advertisement revenue from RMB 10m to RMB 4bn.

Peter Tucker is the CTO and co-founder of Chicago-based pioneering  circular economy B2B asset reuse platform Rheaply, where he has worked full-time since 2016. Before that, he worked at online mortgage lender Guaranteed Rate as Senior Software Engineer for almost four years and, before that, as a software developer at Rosenthal Collins Group and Flippex. Tucker also briefly worked as a business analyst and spent five years as a software developer at University of Iowa Health Care. He holds a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems from the University of Northern Iowa.
