B Capital Group is best known as the venture capital firm co-founded by Eduardo Saverin, co-founder of Facebook. Its investment thesis focuses on connecting highly innovative and agile startups with major corporates that are in need of innovation and have the resources to innovate. As such, B Capital has a special interest in B2B companies that have great potential to disrupt critical industries. Ma Jiliang graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 with a degree in Industrial and System Engineering. He also has a degree in Applied Mathematics. While studying, Ma had internship roles as a lab and program manager with companies in Suzhou, China.In 2012, he started working as a program manager at AI startup Mobvoi in Beijing. After his graduation, he continued to work at Mobvoi until 2014. He founded medtech Modoo as CEO in 2015. He wanted to produce a more effective and safer fetal-monitoring device that can be used by pregnant women at home.

Miquel Montero, founder and former CEO of Atomian and its current CTO, is an industrial engineering graduate from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He also holds a degree in Software Engineering from the Open University of Catalonia. He began developing the Atomian product while he was still a 24-year old student and worked on it for 18 years. He is a pioneer in cognitive computing and used an original system to reproduce human cognitive processes based on symbols, data structures and algorithms. In 1998, he founded Step2U, a mobile interactivity services and software development company, where he worked until he formed Atomian in 2014. 

David Dieteren Ribeiro had aspired to become a professional underwater welder, but as fate would have it, he was exposed to the world of electronics and would go on to pursue an education in the field, culminating in a master’s in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Aveiro. Dieteren has since used his knowledge to co-found two companies, Findster Technologies,  a dual pet tracker and fitness tech, and SWORD Health, the first remote physiotherapy tech. Dieteren currently lives in the Netherlands where he works as Process Control Engineer for Sitech Services.
