A graduate from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland, Ian McKenna had worked for Ericsson (Hutchison Australia) and Vodafone before joining the University of Indonesia to learn the local language in 2010. Based in Jakarta, he joined Fusion Payments in 2011 as country manager and also became its VP of Product and Marketing in 2013.Ian had also co-founded online directory BangArif in 2014 and an on-site customer support service named “What the FAQ” in 2017. It currently has 77 companies in its portfolio and has managed eight exits to date. Its most recent investments include in gaming monetization app Metafy’s $3m seed round in December 2020 and in the $2.7m seed round of mobile online store creation app CASHDROP in August 2020. It invests from $100,000 at the idea stage through to $25m per startup.Im sorry but I dont see that investing in 15 different sectors is actually a focus that is why I put General. it´s mosre like what sectors do they not invest in?

In December 2020, the EIB launched a new €150m co-investment fund to support startups leveraging AI across Europe to address what it called “the multibillion-euro funding gap compared with the United States and China.” Its most recent investments include a €20m investment in the €32m Series C round of Portuguese international online print store 360imprimir (BIZAY) and its first spacetech investment, €20m in venture debt investment to Luxembourg-based Spire Global that is building a satellite constellation, both in December 2020.In 4Q 2020, it also invested €10m in Spanish industrial IoT startup Worldsensing, €15m in German identity verification platform IDnow and €15 in German sportstech platform KINEXON.
