Co-founder & CFO of Triporate
Francisco Vieira is a co-founder and the CFO of Triporate, a startup that applies AI to corporate travel planning. He had also co-founded HelpUp, a digital platform that connects people with companies and non-governmental organizations. Viera has worked at PwC, Digitex and Isolux Corsan and has experience in auditing as well as financial control and reporting across Spain and Latin America. One of Baidu's first AI hire in the US, James Peng (Peng Jun) had worked at Google for seven years, specializing in back-end and front-end advertising systems. The Tsinghua University graduate with an MS from the University of Buffalo and PhD in engineering from Stanford University was invited by Wang Jing, senior vice president of Baidu, to start Baidu Research US. In 2015, he was promoted to Baidu's Chief Architect in charge of R&D of autonomous driving. At the end of 2016, Peng left Baidu and co-founded Pony.ai with another ex-Baidu employee, the coding whiz, Lou Tiancheng.

Named by Andrew Ng as one of the world's best hackers, Lou Tiancheng (b. 1986) holds a BS and a PhD in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, where he joined the Institute for Theoretical Computer Science (now Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences) at Tsinghua University) headed by Turing Award winner Professor Andrew Chi-Chih Yao. Lou began his career at Google X (before it became Waymo), where he worked on autonomous driving technology, leaving Google in 2016. More commonly known by his handle ACRush within the programming community, Lou was named best Chinese coder the TopCoder Open, the Olympics for hackers, 10 years in a row. He is also a two-time winner of Google Code Jam, a global programming competition. Before co-founding Pony.ai, Lou was the youngest T10 engineer at Baidu, where he worked on autonomous driving under Chief Architect and fellow Pony.ai co-founder James Peng.

Alejandro Artacho Amichis of Spotahome
Alejandro Artacho Amichis has degrees in Business Administration and Law from Spanish universities and the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE).He studied in China on an exchange program and got a grant from the Chinese government to learn Mandarin at UIBE in Beijing in 2010. He returned to Spain and started Abendium in 2011, an import and export business between Spain and China. He also established travel agency Aledasia in 2012 to market luxury trips to rich Chinese tourists. The Spotahome idea was resurrected by Artacho in 2014 after working in a property company in London.

He is also advisor to the BBVA and ING banks for the development of digital products as well as consultant on data flow and data protection to members of the European Commission and its parliament.

He first worked in Spain as a service missionary for two years until 2009. In 2013, he co-founded Lax Path LLC to build a community of lacrosse players and enthusiasts in Virginia. He became a goalie coach for the Spanish National Lacrosse Team from 2014 until 2017. In 2015, he joined a two-year master’s degree and MBA program at IE Business School in Madrid, specializing in Big Data. In November 2017, he became the CTO and co-founder of ChainGo Tech SL.

Inspired by his own weight loss experience, former business consultant William Susilo founded the Gorry Holdings group of health and wellness startups: GorryGourmet, GorryWell and Helopt. Before becoming an entrepreneur, William worked for Accenture and Sinar Mas Land between 2012 and 2016, while also spending time at CT Corp, the holding company of a major Indonesian conglomerate. William graduated with a bachelor's in accounting from the University of Indonesia.

Although the business failed after two and a half years, the two young entrepreneurs led their core team to form Aihuishou.
