Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) is Qatar's sovereign wealth fund. QIA was founded by the State of Qatar in 2005 with the aim to strengthen the country's economy. Headquartered in Doha, QIA invests globally and manages total assets worth nearly $300bn.

Established in 2016, Roaming Capital invests mainly in early-stage startups in the sectors of mobile internet, new media, sharing economy, AR/VR, artificial intelligence, etc. The equity funds and digital assets under its management are worth over RMB 2bn. 

With a master’s in media studies from Bangkok University, Chen Yang joined the travel industry in 2001. His roles include being the secretary-general of Holiday Ownership Association of Thailand and the vice-president of China Holiday Association and International Leisure Economy Promotion Association. Chen is fluent in English and Thai.

After graduating with an engineering degree in 2017 from Thanliyn Technological University in Yangon, Soe Moe Aung joined RecyGlo as operations manager and co-founder.RecyGlo’s mission is to be Myanmar’s first circular economy waste management and recycling tech company with plans to become a key player in the ASEAN region.

Everhaus is a VC firm headquartered in Jakarta, investing primarily in southeast asian startups. The Everhaus team's expertise is primarily in data analytics and financial services, which it uses to "catalyze new retail and sharing economy" in the region. The VC has backed car-sharing startup HipCar, interactive video platform TADO and on-demand services provider Seekmi.

Kinara is a venture capital fund based in Indonesia. Established in 2011, it focuses on impact investments that include supporting inclusive economy initiatives and eco-friendly ventures such as Greeneration. Kinara has been managing Indonesia’s first business impact acceleration program that has produced 11 enterprises in the food security sector since 2016. Other priority sectors are microfinance, clean tech, agriculture and fisheries.

Co-founder and President of Chinapex. Tiger Yang attended high school in Singapore  and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Political Economy. Before co-founding Chinapex, Yang managed multiple internal data analytics projects for clients such as Microsoft. He was nominated for the “Innovative Leader of the Year Award” by China Internet Weekly in 2017.

EDB Investments (EDBI) is an investment arm of Singapore's Economic Development Board. It has invested in emerging technologies since 1991, with particular focus on healthcare and information/communication tech. EDBI seeks companies with the potential to support Singapore's economy through existing economic pillars or the development of new industry sectors, as well as companies that can potentially go global through Singapore.

Pedro Luis Uriarte Santamarina was the CEO of Spanish multinational bank BBVA from 1994 to 2001. He was also the Regional Minister-Economy & Finance of the first autonomous government of the Basque Country region in Spain. After being one of the creators of the Basque Agency for Innovation, Uriarte became an early investor of Indexa Capital and Bewa7er, both of which are co-founded by Unai Asenjo Barra.

Tyler Skelton is the CPO and co-founder of pioneering circular economy B2B asset reuse platform Rheaply, where he has worked full-time since 2016. Before that, he worked at online mortgage company Guaranteed Rate as a senior designer.  He has also worked as a designer or tech engineer in several other Chicago-based startups including Palantir.net, The Nines and Analyte Health. Skelton also worked in marketing and design early in his career. He hold’s a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications: Design and Production from Indiana University Bloomington. 

Climate-KIC is an initiative supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), whose focus is to create and support a community of entrepreneurs and mentors that jointly develop and produce innovative ideas facilitating the transition to a zero-carbon economy. Climate-KIC has launched various initiatives and acceleration programs across Europe targeted at growing startups that are tackling climate change, providing them with structure, assistance, mentoring and seed funding to develop low-carbon products and services. 

With a bachelor’s degree in Management from Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management and an MBA degree of Stanford University, Hou Xiaoxiao began her investment career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. In 2015, when researching China’s macro economy, she spotted the huge market potential of the country’s  agriculture sector, given changes in China's population policy (the one-child policy was soon ended).In 2016, she left Goldman Sachs to found Farm Friend with Yu Yang and Meng Fanqi.Hou was named to the 2017 Forbes China 30 elites under 30 list.

Tomy Yunus is co-founder and CEO of Cakap (formerly known as Squline). He graduated from Universitas Bina Nusantara with a bachelor's in Computer Engineering in 2009, after which he pursued further education in China, graduating with a master's in Chinese Economy from Renmin University. While attending Chinese lessons at the Beijing Language and Culture Center, Tomy met future Squline co-founder Yohan Limerta. After working for two years in China, including a short stint as project lead at Pactera, Tomy returned to Indonesia in 2013 to establish Squline, an online language learning platform. 

Peter Tucker is the CTO and co-founder of Chicago-based pioneering  circular economy B2B asset reuse platform Rheaply, where he has worked full-time since 2016. Before that, he worked at online mortgage lender Guaranteed Rate as Senior Software Engineer for almost four years and, before that, as a software developer at Rosenthal Collins Group and Flippex. Tucker also briefly worked as a business analyst and spent five years as a software developer at University of Iowa Health Care. He holds a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems from the University of Northern Iowa.

Junrun Capital was founded in 2009 in Ningbo, Zhejiang province. It's the largest private equity fund in Ningbo and specializes in M&A, equity and venture capital investments. So far, it has successfully exited seven deals out of a total of 21. Junrun has investment managers and researchers with backgrounds in science and technology. It has offices in Hangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen and the US. The company mainly seeks investment opportunities in sustainable materials, cleantech, agriculture, manufacture, biotechnology and the dotcom economy.
