IRDI Capital Investissement supports innovative startups and local SMEs in southwest France, with offices in Bordeaux, Toulouse, and Montpellier. Over its 40-year history, the company has invested some €800m in more than 1,400 companies. 

Cai received a degree in engineering from Université de Technologie de Troyes in 2011. In 2012, he obtained a master's degree in Project Management from Essec Business School Paris and a Master of Sciences from Telecom ParisTech. Cai then worked at Microsoft France for a year. In 2013, he co-founded DreamStorm, which helped like-minded people start businesses, which was acquired by EFactor at a valuation of US$6.5m in 2014. Cai then became a partner at Gewara, a movie ticket booking startup. He left the company after it was acquired by Weiying Times in 2016. In 2017, Cai founded Makaron and has acted as CEO ever since.

PadeInvest is involved in early-stage investments to accelerate the growth of Spanish startups. The angel investor consortium was named the Best Business Angels Network of 2013 by the Spanish Association of Business Angels (AEBAN).Based in Madrid, PadeInvest was established in 2010 by 35 IESE Business School students from the PADE’10 program for investment activities of tech startups. Its network comprises professionals in business management across multiple industry sectors.

ESADE Ban is a network of private investors, comprised of ex-alumnae of the Barcelona, Spain-based ESADE Business School. Founded in 2010, the organization consists of 260 business angels, venture capital companies, family firms and senior managers that have invested more than €27 million in 120 startups. The entity won the European Business Angel Network's 2016 award for best performing business angel and hold investment events throughout the year. 

Cathay Innovation invests in small to medium-sized companies with the potential to rapidly grow internationally. By 2016, Cathay Innovation had conducted 59 investments, with a total investment of €514 million. It has offices in France, China, the US and Germany, with €1.2 billion under management.

Ex-McKinsey consultant and Amadeus engineer Jaime Laulhé lived in New York, Paris and Hong Kong before returning to his native Madrid to work at McKinsey, where he spent two years. He holds degrees in IT Engineering from Madrid Polytechnic University and in Telecommunications Engineering from ENSIMAG in France, and an MBA from the University of Chicago and a master's in Mathematics from Institut Fourier, France.In New York and Hong Kong, he spent several years working in High Frequency Trading tech at Société Générale. He is founder and CEO of Geoblink, developing location tech AI solutions for retail, real estate and FMCG sectors.

Oscar Serra is a co-founder and co-CEO as well as a big-data scientist at Deep Solutions, a producer of deep neural network software for image recognition. He combines this role with a multi-disciplinary management role in his family's €15m-revenue industrial machinery company Serra Workshops, where he has worked since 2010. Prior to this, he worked at Honda Research Institute Europe in Germany as a software programmer for one year, and as a PhD researcher in computer vision, deep learning and neural networks at Barcelona's Institute of Robotics and Industrial Information Systems (IRI). Serra has a total of five Master's degrees: Programming, Robotics, Neuroscience, Computer Vision, and an MBA. He has studied at Hult International Business School in San Francisco,  Lumière University Lyon 2 in France, at Barcelona's IRI and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. 

Spain's most popular second-hand marketplace merged with LetGo in 2017 in the US and has 6 million daily users and topped US$150 million in funding.

China Minsheng Investment Group (CMIG) is the largest privately owned investment group in China, with RMB 50 billion in registered capital. It was initiated by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and its Global Advisory Council includes the former prime ministers of France, Italy and Pakistan, and various other global experts and Nobel Prize winners.

Phitrust Partenaires is a France-based investment fund focused on social businesses in Europe and Asia.In Europe, the company acts as a VC firm dedicated to impact investing. Its investment vehicle contributes €150,000 to €800,000 to support projects that address social needs. Phitrust Partenaires also works in partnership with prominent European social funds.

Pau Molinas is an investor and board member in several technology companies. He was one of the first investors in Gestoos, a gesture recognition startup, of which he is currently advisor.Molinas developed his professional career at HP, where he was its global VP overseeing HP’s printer operations. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering and specialized in Business Management from INSEAD, the London Business School as well as Spanish business schools EADA and IESE. 

Nour Akbaraly completed a master’s in engineering at Centrale Lille and also a master’s in applied mathematics at Lille University in 2010. In 2011, Akbaraly joined industrial manufacturing consultancy firm Avencore as a consultant in Paris.The avid photographer and F&B enthusiast also went to various tea-tasting classes at a tea specialist college until 2015. Passionate about gastronomy, he began exploring alt-protein alternatives to address the environmental and ethical challenges of food supply chains.In 2016, he went on an engineering training course for agronomy and agri-food at AgroSup Dijon, the National Institute of Agronomic, Food and Environmental Sciences.A year later, he founded Les Noveaux Affineurs, a startup specializing in plant-based alternatives to cheese. His ambition is to create a new range of French gastronomic vegan cheese products for consumers in France and overseas.Since 2010, Akbaraly is also a volunteer at the Action Contre la Faim, a Paris-based international NGO founded in 1979. The “Action Against Hunger” projects include running awareness campaigns on food security issues in colleges and schools in France and other countries like India and Sudan.

Founded in 1996, HMC Venture is a subsidiary of the Harmony Group, a conglomerate that specializes in startup investment and chemical trade. HMC Venture’s investments focus on Internet-based FinTech and the enterprise service business, the medical and biological business and private equity.

Mitsubishi Corporation is the general trading company of the Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Group. The corporation covers diverse industries, ranging from general business and financial services to metals and energy. Its largest business unit is the energy group, which trades and invests in oil and gas projects around the world.

The investment fund was established in 1998 by Luis Martín Cabiedes, one of the most prominent business angels in Spain. The VC provides funds for early-stage growth of internet and technology ventures in Spain, acting initially as a business angel and then becoming a venture capitalist for future funding rounds.
