Born in 1972, Wang started out in finance in 1992 at Xiangcai Securities, where she was employed in multiple capacities. She founded Noah Wealth Management in 2005 and has served as chairperson and CEO ever since. In 2010, Noah became China's first wealth management firm to go public in the US. Wang holds an EMBA from China Europe International Business School.

In 2005, he resigned from NetEase and founded gaming portal Duowan. In 2008, Li founded YY Inc., a live streaming social media platform that went public on Nasdaq in 2012.

Lei is co-founder, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi, one of the world’s largest smartphone companies. Born in December 1969, he holds a degree in Engineering from Wuhan University. With a personal net worth of US$11.2 billion, Lei has invested in 33 companies as a business angel, including Vancl.com, UCWeb, and YY Inc., a live streaming social media platform in China. He has also invested in 270 companies through Shunwei Capital, where he is a founding partner. Lei's investment focuses are e-commerce, mobile internet and social networking.

Hike Capital was founded in December 2015 by Mark Yang, the founder of Ganji.com and Guazi.com, and Anna Xu, former general manager of the mobile internet department at NetEase and founder of the NetEase News app. The firm invests mainly in early-stage startups in the technological innovation, transaction platform, entertainment and lifestyle fields.

An experienced entrepreneur in internet business, Wen Chu founded the online community for media professionals No4media.com in 2001, the Guangzhou-based Click.com.cn in 2003, and the mobile entertainment website Moabc.com in 2005. Click.com.cn was acquired by the NASDAQ-listed company PACT in 2004. In March 2008, he founded the Great Wall Club (GWC), a communication platform for entrepreneurs and startups that has initiated and organized events such as the annual Global Mobile Internet Conference (GMIC) since 2008 and the startup competition G-Startup Worldwide. He currently is the president and CEO of GWC. He invested Xpeng Motors as an angel investor in 2014.

Zhengxuan Capital was established in June 2003. Xia Zuoquan, the company's majority shareholder and chairman of the board, is also one of the founders of BYD, an EV maker. Zhengxuan Capital has invested in over 40 companies, primarily in the AI, robotics, semiconductor and aerospace industries. Five of Zhengxuan Capital’s companies have been listed publicly, and its average ROI is greater than 10. It has AUM of more than RMB 10 billion.

Challengers Capital was founded in 2014. Its founding partners are angel investors Xie Xianlin and Tang Binsen. It manages three RMB funds with around RMB 2 billion in management.Challengers Capital focuses on areas like consumption upgrade, entertainment, gaming, enterprise services and fintech.

Yu is the founder and chairman of NYSE-listed New Oriental Education & Technology Group. Upon graduating from Peking University with a bachelor’s degree in English in 1985, he started teaching English at his alma mater. Yu resigned from the university in 1991 and, two years later, founded the New Oriental School, where students learned how to pass the TOEFL exam or score high on the GRE. In 2014, he co-founded Hongtai Capital Holdings (Aplus Capital), which manages over RMB 20 billion in assets, with fellow entrepreneur Sheng Xitai. As an angel investor, Yu invests mainly in edtech startups. 

Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Xiamen, Fujian Province, Meitu is a public company traded at HK Stock Exchange.Its products include photo-editing and sharing software Meitu Xiuxiu(MeituPic), short video app Meipai, apps focusing on oversea users AirBrush and BeautyPlus, etc. (https://corp.meitu.com/news/news/110.html) It reported having a MAU of 3320 million adding up all its apps in 2018. Focus Technology was founded in 1996 and headquartered in Nanjing, following a state policy to strengthen and develop the industrialization and digitalization of China. In 2013, the company expanded to the US and started its cross-border e-commerce business.Focus is mainly involved in Internet Plus, bringing digitalization to overseas trading, insurance, business procurement, education and medical services. Made-in-China.com, Abiz.com and xyz.cn are the main e-commerce platforms of Focus.
