Benz Budiman graduated in Business Administration at the University of Southern California and returned to Indonesia in 2014 to work for snack food manufacturer PT Mitrasatrya Perkasa Utama.He left the business development role in 2015 and established adtech Pomona in 2016. He is also the CEO of Pomona that offers cashbacks to customers who buy products promoted by clients. In addition, he became the president director of PT Tennova Cipta in 2016. He became an investor and co-founder of Indonesian beverage drinks startup Goola in 2018.

Before joining Blackfish as co-founder and president in 2017, Yang was the CFO of online travel site Tuniu, which he helped get listed on NASDAQ in 2014. Prior to that, from 2010–2012, he was CFO of e-commerce platform Dangdang and from 2007–2010 he was CFO of Air Media Group Inc. Yang led both companies' IPOs in the US. He received his bachelor's in Food Science from Fu Jen Catholic University and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles. 

Caffeinated Capital is a San Francisco-based venture capital firm founded by Raymond Tonsing, founded in 2009. Since 2016, it has launched three funds, investing a total US$242 million in 60 companies, including five as the lead investor. It has seen a number of prominent exits including Parse, WePay and Appurify and was the lead investor in Series B rounds for Sapho and Airtable, besides MemSQL's Series C funding. Its recent investments include in Opendoor's Series E round and in Triplebyte's Series B and SentiLink's Series A rounds. Healthcare, fintech and cryptosecurity are key investment areas. 

As the Korean conglomerate’s gateway to deep tech startups and innovation, Samsung NEXT covers product development, investment, M&A and partnerships in a single entity to complement Samsung’s hardware business. Outside of South Korea, Samsung NEXT has offices in Berlin, Tel Aviv and in the US in New York, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley. Its portfolio currently includes 55 companies with recent investments including in Series A rounds for Tetrate, Brodmann17 and RapidDeploy, as well as Healthy.io's Series B. It has managed 13 exits to date, including LoopPay, Automated Insights and EyeVerify. The VC was established in 2013. 

Plug and Play Tech Center is a startup accelerator and venture fund based in Silicon Valley, USA. It invests in over 100 startups every year, from pre-product to Series A, including Dropbox and Lending Club.The VC launched its first accelerator program in Indonesia in February 2017, in partnership with Indonesia’s Gan Kapital. Since then, the program has provided mentorship and US$50,000 funding to each of the 11 startups selected from the ASEAN region including Astronaut Technologies. Other corporate partners include Astra International, BNI, Bank BTN and Sinar Mas.

Established in July 2009, GP Capital was co-funded by Shanghai International Group, Jiangsu Shagang Group, Huatai Securities and Hengdian Group. It specializes in establishing and managing industrial investment funds and private equity funds. GP Capital manages the RMB 20 billion Shanghai Financial Development Investment Fund. The Fund was sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government with approval from the State Council and National Development and Reform Commission. Half of GP Capital's investment has gone to financial firms. It also invests in sectors such as consumer products, healthcare, new energy, culture, etc.

KK Fund is named after Koichi Saito and Kuan Hsu. Founder and general partner Koichi was formerly from IMJ Investment Partners and a private equity fund run by George Soros. Co-founder and general partner Kuan had previously worked at Goldman Sachs, Temasek Holdings and GREE Ventures.Another KK partner or LP is Masahiko Honma, co-founder and general partner of Incubate Fund based in Japan. KK Fund focuses mainly on internet and mobile startups in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan; with possible seed stage funding ranging from US$100,000 to US$400,000 per startup.

Centurium Capital is a private equity firm specializing in investments in the healthcare and consumer sectors in China. It was founded by David Li, Warburg Pincus's former Asia head, with a US$1.5 billion hard cap. It raised US$925 million in first close in June 2018. Centurium's limited partners include GIC, China Investment Corporation and Temasek Holdings. Centurium has cooperated with UCAR and Lepu Medical Technology to set up and manage two industrial M&A funds with initial funds of over RMB 6 billion.

Apostolos Apostolakis is a serial entrepreneur turned investor. He has a Civil Engineering degree from NTUA and an MBA from Columbia Business School. His entrepreneurial career started after working two years as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group until 2004. He became a co-founder and board member of various companies including VentureFriends, InstaShop, Douleutaras.gr, e-food.gr, Doctoranytime.gr and Blueground (formerly Openfund and Taxibeat). In 2010, he started investing in other startups, focusing on e-marketplaces and SaaS.

The Venture City is a tech accelerator with international growth hubs. The VC was established in 2017 by former Facebook executive Laura González-Estéfani with co-founder Clara Bullrich from Guggenheim Partners Latin America/LJ Partnership.The ecosystem accelerator is data-driven and has diverse interests in AI, healthtech, cybersecurity, SaaS, marketplaces, fintech, blockchain and VR. It also provides the full A-Z package of expertise to support startups that have the potential to scale internationally, especially in LatAm, Asia and Africa.

The Alexa Fund provides up to $200 million in venture capital funding to fuel voice technology innovation. It is focused on how voice technology can improve customers’ lives, from early-stage pre-revenue companies to established brands. Areas of particular interest include: hardware products that would benefit from the Alexa Voice Service; skills that deliver new abilities to Alexa-enabled devices through the Alexa Skills Kit; and new contributions to the science behind voice technology, including text to speech, natural language understanding, automatic speech recognition, artificial intelligence and hardware component design.

Russia-China Investment Fund (RCIF) is a private equity fund that invests in projects created to advance economic cooperation between Russia and China. RCIF was founded in 2012 by two government-backed funds: Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and China Investment Corporation (CIC). RCIF has received US$1 billion commitments from both RDIF and CIC. International institutional investors are expected to commit an additional US$2 billion. RCIF will invest at least 70% of its capital in Russia and CIS countries and around 30% in China.

Blanca Hernández Rodriguez holds a Master's Degree in Finance from CUNEF, a private Spanish university specializing in banking and finance that is based in Madrid. She has over 20 years’ experience in value investing. Her career started in the Arcalia group. She later established and managed a family office fund.Today, Hernández Rodriguez is the CEO of Magallanes Value Investors SA SGIIC, a Spanish asset management company offering portfolio management, equity, financial planning and advisory services. 

Chris Bouwer is a Barcelona-based angel investor, active in the Spanish tech ecosystem and known for backing startups including Delivery Hero, Fanly and Airhelp. More recently, he was the lead investor in a funding round by Polaroo, a mobile app that manages and automates household payments, as well as investing in Cobee, a compensation and benefits management SaaS. He’s currently Board Advisor in Cellulant, a financial service provider providing digital payments in Africa. Bouwer has a background in sales, with his last key position as VP of Sales (2007–2015) in Adyen, a Dutch PSP services fintech he co-founded.

Formerly known as Google Ventures, GV is the investment arm of Alphabet Inc. Although Alphabet is its sole limited partner, the VC operates independently from Google. It invests in seed, venture and growth-stage funding rounds with more than 300 companies in its portfolio worth over $5bn. Headquartered in California’s Mountain View, GV has offices in San Francisco, Boston, New York and London. The VC has been actively involved in Silicon Valley’s investment rounds for prominent startups like Uber, Slack, Ripple, Impossible Foods, Lime and Medium.
