IGF is a crowdfunding platform for impact investing in Asia. It aims to partner with innovative, high-impact enterprises in need of capital to scale their businesses and, as a result, be of value to society and the environment. The fund seeks to mobilize its US$50m in investment capital to deliver affordable healthcare, cut CO2 emissions, help more than 2m people gain access to clean energy and empower women. IGF's investments range in size from US$250,000 to US$5m, and primarily take the form of equity or quasi-equity. All its investments include pre-agreed social or environmental impact targets.

Co-founder, CTO of Meatable
Daan Luining is the Dutch co-founder and CTO at cell-based meat startup Meatable, the first to claim a highly scalable culture technology, where he has worked since 2018. He is also a research director at the Cellular Agriculture Society in Leiden, a joint initiative for cell-based startups to share knowledge and to collaborate on projects to further scale the sector. Luining is also on the board of directors at the not-for-profit Cultured Meat Foundation that promotes sector innovation. His past posts have all been in the area of research, either as a researcher or a technician, and at the same time as completing studies. His last job was as a research strategist at New York-based New Harvest, a callular food rsearch funding body, where he worked for a year and met Dr. Kotter, the inventor of Meatable’s cellular technology. His research positions from 2009–15 were in the area of cell culture, mass spectrometry and DNA sequencing at the Maastricht University, University Medical Center Amsterdam, Utrecht University and Leiden University. Luining holds a master’s in biological sciences from Leiden University in the Netherlands.

She went on to manage various restaurants and conducted cooking courses prior to joining BlackGarlic in 2015. Olivia is also a member of the International Wine Society.

She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the same university. Her main research interests are self-organized networks, e.g., routing, mobility, delay-tolerant mechanisms and content distribution networks, in ad-hoc and vehicular mechanisms and protocols. In 2012, she co-founded Veniam, a tech startup for connected and autonomous vehicles, where she also worked in engineering and corporate research from 2012 until 2014. She advises the European Commission in her areas of expertise.
