Joaquín Guanter Gonzálbez, also known as Ximo, is a co-founder and former CTO of Coinffeine, a P2P bitcoin exchange platform backed by Bankinter .He has a degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPC) with a specialization in Language Theory and AI.  For more than six years he worked as a Software Developer at Microsoft and since 2012 he's been working for the R&D department at Telefónica. His expertize and interests are focused on programming languages, AI and statistics. 

A graduate with a master’s in Management and Business Strategy from the ESSEC Business School Paris, Nathanael Faibis had worked for two years as a project manager in France, Kenya and Morocco for a pharmaceutical market research company Sanisphere. In 2012, he worked for Lazada in Vietnam and Indonesia before becoming the head of production and user experience of Lazada Southeast Asia. However, he left Lazada in March 2013 to rejoin Sanisphere in Jakarta as the country head and global head of data management. Finally in April 2014, he decided to set up an Indonesian health portal Alodokter.

Diliara Lupenko is the COO and co-founder of Impress, an invisible aligners company regarded as one of the fastest-growing telemedicine startups in Europe. Prior to Impress, Lupenko served for over eight years as COO and CFO of Aquaton, a bathroom furniture plant and a subsidiary of the ROCA Group. She also worked in the Transaction Service Group in KPMG, managing financial due diligence of over 100 targets, pre-sale preparation of vendors, and restructuring, amongst other tasks. Impress is not Lupenko’s first entrepreneurial experience. In 2013 she co-founded Style Me Up the first Russian marketplace for designers of jewelry and accessories.

Hans Christ has worked internationally across Latin America, Europe and the USA. He is the co-founder of transport technology startup Bipi, a Spanish on-demand car rental app and Lollo Mobility, Bipi’s parent company and transport app company. He co-founded Colombia Cave Box Crossfit in 2013 and was previously Groupon Iberia’s Head of Goods, where he helped established its product department. Christ started his career as a Credit Manager in Walls Cargo Bank. Christ holds a Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University (SMU) and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Dallas.

Lin Xianfeng has 13 years of experience in R&D and management, and was a former senior IT specialist at Alibaba.

Nour Akbaraly completed a master’s in engineering at Centrale Lille and also a master’s in applied mathematics at Lille University in 2010. In 2011, Akbaraly joined industrial manufacturing consultancy firm Avencore as a consultant in Paris.The avid photographer and F&B enthusiast also went to various tea-tasting classes at a tea specialist college until 2015. Passionate about gastronomy, he began exploring alt-protein alternatives to address the environmental and ethical challenges of food supply chains.In 2016, he went on an engineering training course for agronomy and agri-food at AgroSup Dijon, the National Institute of Agronomic, Food and Environmental Sciences.A year later, he founded Les Noveaux Affineurs, a startup specializing in plant-based alternatives to cheese. His ambition is to create a new range of French gastronomic vegan cheese products for consumers in France and overseas.Since 2010, Akbaraly is also a volunteer at the Action Contre la Faim, a Paris-based international NGO founded in 1979. The “Action Against Hunger” projects include running awareness campaigns on food security issues in colleges and schools in France and other countries like India and Sudan.

Matías Muchnick graduated among the top 10% in business administration from the University of Chile in 2011 and went on to complete a master’s in Finance in 2012. He gained some work experience in Santiago as an analyst at LarrainVial in 2010 and spent the summer working at JP Morgan in Hong Kong after his graduation in 2011.In 2012, he became an entrepreneur and founded the wellness app Chooz, a project sponsored by the Chilean government. In 2013, he co-founded Eggless, the first food company in Chile to offer vegan mayonnaise in Chilean supermarkets like Walmart and Jumbo. He exited the business in 2015 and, in the same year, joined an entrepreneurship bootcamp at the University of California, Berkley, where he approached the biochemistry department to learn more about data and science. He also completed executive programs at Harvard Business School in 2015 and at the Stanford University in 2018.In November 2015, he co-founded the Chilean foodtech Not Company (NotCo) with astrophysicist Karim Pichara, who he met in Harvard, and Pablo Zamora. Based in New York, Muchnick is the CEO of NotCo, which combines AI with food science to create plant-based products that mimic animal-based food like milk and burgers.

Alessandro De Sario is CEO and founder of mental health startup TherapyChat, Spain’s number one online psychotherapy platform founded in 2016. He also works for TherapyChat’s investor, the Spanish VC and startup developer Next Chance Group, on other startups in their portfolio, such as the discount aggregator app Billionhands.Prior to starting TherapyChat, De Sario spent just over three years working in different food delivery entities associated with German VC and startup incubator Rocket Internet. He oversaw the development and launch of Rocket Internet’s food delivery operations in Latin America before these entities were sold to JustEat and Delivery Hero. He was also Head of Logistics at La Nevera Roja in Spain, which was later acquired by Delivery Hero. Before these roles, De Sario spent two years in investment banking and mergers and acquisitions at HSBC in London.De Sario holds three master’s degrees: one in management from ESCP Business School; one in science from City University, London; and one in business administration from the University of Turin, Italy. He lectures part-time on International Food and Beverage Management at ESCP Business School in Turin, Italy.

Prior to starting his own business, Htite was a senior executive at Oracle, working in enterprise software, specifically real-time online services and system design. Computer science graduate from Université de Montreal.

University of Minho graduate Rui Costa holds a master’s degree in Marketing and Strategic Management. Since graduation, he had been working at marketing and advertising agency BySide as a digital strategist and business developer, before leaving to focus on his startup EatTasty. He co-founded the startup with BySide colleague Orlando Lopes.

Software engineer and entrepreneur Tiago Paiva holds a master’s degree in Network and Telecommunications from the Technical University of Lisbon. Previous to Talkdesk, he was a developer at Procter & Gamble. With co-founder and former classmate Cristina Fonseca, Paiva initially developed Talkdesk as a prototype at a Twilio-hosted hackathon.

Yudha Kartohadiprodjo formerly worked as an editor and publisher at Femina Group, one of Indonesia’s leading magazine and media groups. In 2016, he joined forces with agritech veteran Alihan Tjohjono to establish Karsa, a social platform for farmers and agricultural stakeholders.
