Founder and CEO of UBTECH
Zhou graduated from Nanjing Forestry University with a bachelor’s degree in Automation in 1998. Upon graduation, he worked for Michael Weinig, a German woodworking manufacturing company. After four years at Michael Weinig, he became its youngest ever manager for the Greater China Area. Zhou and his team have been working in robotics R&D since 2008 and founded UBTECH in 2012.

Xu Huansheng was born in 1979 and obtained an MBA from the National School of Development, Peking University. He founded Baidu’s smart hardware unit and Baidu Cloud during his four years at Baidu in the early 2010s. He co-founded Dingdang Medicine Express in 2014. He is now a senior partner at Feihe Dairy (Firmus), one of the biggest infant and toddler formula producers in China.

Peter Windischhofer graduated with a management degree in 2012 at Vienna University of Economics and Business, including a stint at the University of Hong Kong. Student internships included various roles at McKinsey & Company, Perella Weinberg Partners, Realtreuhand and Raiffeisen Bank.In 2012, he joined CUDOS Group and worked for over a year as a business analyst in Vienna. In 2013, he met Refurbed co-founder Kilian Kaminski during a master’s program run by Hult International Business School. Both men worked in China while studying international business. Windischhofer spent six months running an online “TripAdvisor” review platform for Chinese language schools in Shanghai.In October 2014, Windischhofer joined McKinsey & Company as a management consultant working on digital marketing and product development projects for marketplaces and e-commerce companies in Europe.In 2017, he left McKinsey to co-found Refurbed with Kaminski to build an Amazon-style marketplace for refurbished electronic goods. The idea was inspired by a personal experience when Windischhofer bought a used smartphone after seeing a classified ad. The phone stopped working after two weeks. The incident prompted him to create an e-commerce platform specializing in selling quality refurbished e-products with carbon-neutral credentials like planting a tree for every sales transaction.

Norberto González Díaz serves as the CEO of railway consultancy firm SigmaRail, which he co-founded in 2016. His professional life started in the US, where he worked on wind turbine generators in EDF's R&D department. In 2008, he joined CRISA, an Airbus company, as a power electronics design engineer. Between 2011 and 2015, González held various roles at Spanish industrial engineering company Grupo Cobra, spending time in Spain, the Ivory Coast and Cameroon. Roig was been responsible for the expansion and innovation strategy of Psious, leading the business development unit until April 2017 when he left the company.Based in Barcelona, he is now the sales manager at Supertronic SA. He had previously worked for Supertronic for two years until 2007 while still at university. He had also worked as webmaster for Redfactory SL for five years prior to joining Supertronic in 2005.

In 2003, he moved to Guildford in UK to work for Lionhead Studios, the computer games company that created Black & White, The Movies and the Fable series.In 2016, he and Lionhead colleague Fabio Polimeni left the company to co-found Poligor Studios where they spent a year developing VR experiences of famous heritage places, offering users immersive experiences of historical events.In 2017, he returned to Madrid to become the CCO, art director and co-founder of Play2Speak, an AI-powered edtech that produces VR immersive learning materials and programs.

Vidreiro also joined A2D Consulting in Lisbon as e-commerce and digital senior consultant in November 2017.
