Silicon Valley highflier Arip Tirta left a top job in 2011 to develop a big data and analytics property platform in Indonesia. He was based in Palo Alto, California for more than seven years and was a director of Investment Analysis and Strategy at a leading venture debt provider Hercules Technology Growth Capital.Armed with a bachelor’s in Mathematics of Computation from UCLA in 2002 and a master’s in Scientific Computing and Computational Mathematics from Stanford University in 2004, Arip found it frustrating to find a property in Indonesia, so he started UrbanIndo.

Pharmacist-turned-illustrator Eduardo Esteves has more than three decades of experience in paper and digital publishing. He graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Coimbra in 1991. He became a serial entrepreneur in 1998 as co-founder of Ciberbit SA. In 2012, he also co-founded CoolApps with university alumni João Igor and Liliana Marques.In 2014, they established CoolFarm to develop SaaS indoor farming solutions. In January 2015, he left Ciberbit and CoolApps to focus on developing and marketing CoolFarm B2B products. Since CoolFarm's insolvency, Esteves has worked as a creative consultant based in Coimbra.

He had already co-founded a furniture business FASA Works and a coworking hub Conclave in 2012. He exited both in March 2015. The Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) graduate returned to the furniture business as a co-founder of Fabelio. Launched in June 2015 with seed funding of US$500,000, the e-commerce furniture company has also secured US$2 million in Series A funds in 2016.

Alvin Kumarga is an experienced technical consultant and a Magna Cum Laude graduate in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, USA. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in law from Universitas Indonesia, she joined Metro TV as one of their first reporters in 2000. In 2004, she became an assistant producer for Metro TV's Today's Dialogue show and was heavily involved in reporting the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. In 2009, she became the host of her own talk show, Mata Najwa, before becoming the station's vice editor-in-chief in 2011. In 2017, Najwa officially left Metro TV to establish omni-channel media network Narasi TV.

She joined EY-Parthenon in London as a strategy consultant in April 2019.In 2019, Mumtaz also met the iLoF co-founding team at the EIT Health Wild Card venture-building program. iLoF is a medtech startup that focuses on personalized medicine through the use of AI and photonics to create optical fingerprints in a cloud-based library to gather and manages disease biomarkers and biological profiles.She joined iLoF as COO and co-founder in December 2019 and left her full-time consultancy role at EY in March 2020.
