Purdue engineering graduate Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation, he worked as an engineer at Distribution Service Technologies and Sigma Cipta Caraka (Telkomsigma), both IT companies. He subsequently became Head of Business Development at Bayu Buana Travel, a travel company. He eventually quit to start crowdsourcing creative website Sribu in 2011. In 2014, he founded Sribulancer, an online marketplace for freelancers.

Stanford-educated Chau joined Google in 2000 as its 103rd staff, and was the first engineer on AdWords, RPC, Google Talk, among other projects, with expertise in Android development. He left Google in 2008 and became an angel investor. Among the companies in his portfolio, most failed except Lightinthebox.com, which went public on NYSE in 2013. Chau holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology; and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

In medical software development/engineering since 2001, Wang Ming’s working experience includes heading information management system for health centers. In 2003 he began managing a hospital’s information system, database, computer rooms and minicomputers, and developed a hospital software system. Awarded Shenzhen’s Science and Technology Achievement Award.

INSEAD graduate Edward Widjonarko holds a bachelor’s degree from Bandung Institute of Technology. As an undergraduate, he was on the Dean’s List for six consecutive semesters, and graduated cum laude in 2008 with a GPA of 3.97. A master’s degree holder in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, Pennsylvania, USA, Tedo Salim also graduated with a diploma of the same major from Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore in 2007.Prior to running Alkemis Games, Tedo had worked as a Senior Software Engineer at GREE International Inc in San Francisco, from March 2012 to August 2014. He was with Schell Games in Pittsburgh as a Game Engineer for over three years, working mainly on iOS and Android mobile games such as War of Nations.

Having attained a master’s in Electronics, Digital Media & Game Technologies in 2013 from the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) in Indonesia, Walesa Danto continues to have a passion for creative IT products and hardware as a software engineer.Walesa’s Limakilo mobile app won a hackathon Code4Nation award in August 2015, as one of three Best App winners to solve Indonesia’s commodities issues.The former lecturer at Telkom Institute of Technology, now known as Telkom University, always feels challenged to deliver new products with a focus on user experience using the User Centered Design approach.

Arif Setiawan is an experienced web and mobile app developer who loves competition. He still runs Futsalholic.com that he co-founded in 2013 while in Bandung, prior to joining Limakilo as the CTO in November 2015. Arif is Limakilo’s Backend and API developer and also its Frontend Web developer.He also works on other projects at Rakki Studio as a web developer. An alumni of the Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB), Arif gained a master’s in Informatics (Media Technology and Mobile Apps) in 2016.

Danny Saksono is a software engineer, graduating in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales. He had previously obtained a diploma in Information Technology from Singapore’s Nanyang Polytechnic in 2007.Prior to founding Quintal, Danny worked in Singapore for about five years as a senior system analyst at Mobile Xprerience Pte Ltd and as a software engineer at ASG Technologies.

Pieter Jontera Lius joined Quintal as CTO in July 2015, after working as Director of Information Technology at PT MarketPlays Digital Ventura. Prior to returning to Indonesia, he had worked as a software analyst and developer at iConsult in Singapore for almost two years.Pieter graduated in 2012, with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Software Engineering at the University of New South Wales in Australia.

A CEO with a technical background, Daniel Witono is an ex-Microsoft software engineer with more than five years of experience in the development field.A computer engineering graduate from the University of New South Wales in Australia, Daniel founded the Jurnal startup with Anthony Kosasih, a friend also from the University of New South Wales.

Silicon Valley highflier Arip Tirta left a top job in 2011 to develop a big data and analytics property platform in Indonesia. He was based in Palo Alto, California for more than seven years and was a director of Investment Analysis and Strategy at a leading venture debt provider Hercules Technology Growth Capital.Armed with a bachelor’s in Mathematics of Computation from UCLA in 2002 and a master’s in Scientific Computing and Computational Mathematics from Stanford University in 2004, Arip found it frustrating to find a property in Indonesia, so he started UrbanIndo.

An ex-Rocket Internet’s Lazada Indonesia manager, Riky Tenggara is pursuing his lifelong dream to be his own boss. The graduate in Information Technology at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia is no stranger to the startup industry.Riky was previously a business development manager and the head of sourcing at Lazada before joining aCommerce as a senior product manager. He started out as an internal auditor at Indofood and later became a business strategy analyst. Both roles gave him a sound business foundation with insider knowledge on the operations and management of companies in different industries.

Aditya Saputra really loves to code but is not a geek, according to his LinkedIn profile. He is a professional software developer, graduating with a degree in Information Systems in 2009. He still runs his own software development agency Smart Techno Nusantara that he founded in 2008. He joined Bernardus Sumartok and Fitri Andriani to co-found Tripvisto, becoming the CTO in May 2014.  He loves to learn all about programming, project management, IT business development and IT product development. Aditya has over seven years experience in programming, especially using PHP with CodeIgniter framework.

Liu Zhiqiang formerly worked at Huawei, China Mobile and HR website Zhaopin, where he was vice-president (product and technology)

A former senior executive at Standard Chartered Bank and HP, Wang Huawei went on to set up his own business in internet investment/wealth management information services, Weitouhuirong (Beijing) Network Technology; and subsequently, P2P financing-social networking app Pengyoufan.
