Founded in 2008, Bertelsmann Asia Investments (BAI) is an evergreen fund wholly owned by Bertelsmann focusing on private equity investment in the Greater China Region. SDP Investment was founded in 2017 by Chi Miao, former Warburg Pincus head of real estate for Asia. It is a real estate investment management firm focusing on acquisition of prime properties in Tier 1 cities in China. The firm also invests in real estate-related areas including logistics, data center and cloud service.

Ameba Capital is a seed/early stage VC fund managing over RMB 1 billion. It has invested in more than 60 startups, including Didi, Dianping and Mogujie.

BStartup is an initiative of Sabadell Bank that supports innovation and entrepreneurship in Spain. It focuses mainly on tech and digital ecosystems and has recently launched a new program BStartup Health to invest in the healthtech sector. The BStartup10 program allocates €1 million annually to support the seed and early-stage of development of 10 startups. The Sabadell Venture Capital provides Series A and Series B funding.

Athos Capital is a venture capital firm established in 2017 with offices in Barcelona and Madrid. It currently operates a €1 million fund and has a portfolio of 10 Spain-based startups across the digital technology ecosystem (excluding real estate, biotech and healthcare). The team comprises Fernando Castiñeras, Robert Tomas, Giovanni Bologna and Elisabet Garriga, who have prior experience as venture capitalists, business consultants and entrepreneurs. 

Set up in 2012 by Jackie Chen (Chen Liang) and Sebastian Kübler, who together with Raymond Lei (Lei Yang) founded Taishan Invest AG, one of China's first angel funds. TXD Ventures is an early-stage investor focusing on Chinese consumer startups, particularly online- and/or mobile-based. Its investments range from RMB 1 million to RMB 6 million.

China Merchants Capital (CMC), the investment management platform of China Merchants Group, was established in 2012 with a registered capital of RMB 1 billion. As of the end of 2014, it had assets under management worth nearly US$3 billion. CMC invests mainly in the infrastructure, medical & pharmaceutical, financial services, real estate, high-tech, agriculture & foods, media, equipment machinery, mining and energy sectors, among others.

Founded in 2004, Active Venture Partners is based in Barcelona and has two VC funds totaling €74 million. The company has made 40 investments and managed nine exits, including cloud-based reservation platform Restaurants.com, business intelligence tool for hotels ReviewPro and ticket marketplace Ticketbis. The VC was the lead investor in 18 funding rounds to date, with the most recent being a €1-million round for sales and marketing platform Whisbi.

Arthur Kosten is an adviser for Booking.com and other companies like Festicket and eVentures Africa Fund.  He was the former CMO and co-founder of Booking.com. Together with other business angels and VCs, he generally invests about US$200,000 to US$1 million in various marketplace platforms for expansion in Europe. He is also an investor and board member of rentalcars.com, catawiki.com, treatwell, 8fit.com, festicket and healthcare.com.
