Pablo Fernandez Alveraz is the CEO and co-founder of Clicars.com, an online marketplace for second-hand cars. Clicars secured investments from former executives working at Mercedes, General Motors, Santander Bank and Mapfre. He has degrees from Harvard Business School and the University of Madrid. He spent over 14 years working as an investment banker and consultant in Europe, USA and Latin America before diving into the world of startups. The former Boston Consulting Group (BCG) consultant was also part of the team that led the corporate strategy and digital transformation of Santander Bank in the US.

Guangzhou Emerging Industry Development Fund (Emerging Fund) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangzhou Industrial Investment Fund Management Co Ltd (SFund).It was found in line with the Guangzhou Municipal Government’s industrial upgrade strategy, with the aim of pooling capital, projects and talents together in Guangzhou. The Emerging Fund currently manages a set of government-guided funds and direct investment funds. It also invests in several state-level guidance funds on behalf of the municipal government. It mainly invests in emerging sectors in manufacturing, information technology, service sectors, seed and related industries.

Abdoulaye Maiga is CTO and co-founder at Teliman, Mali’s first on-demand mobility startup and one of francophone Africa’s first, where he has worked since its launch in 2018. Before that, he was CTO and co-founder at French real estate startup Wemblee where he still works part-time from Mali, initially simultaneously working as a salesforce administrator and developer in chemical company SEPPIC.Maiga previously worked at Rakuten in Tokyo for one year as a research and development VR scientist and also completed a stint at Accenture in Paris as an information system consultant. He also completed short stints in engineering at BCS Group in New Zealand and in business development at EATOPS in the Netherlands. The Malian national obtained two master’s degrees in innovation economics from Universite Paris-Saclay (2017) and in computer science from Keio University in Tokyo (2015), after winning scholarships to study overseas.

Post-MBA, she held various roles in different companies, including as an editor at Aquila Magazine and a lecturer in Islamic Marketing at Paramadina University. She co-founded FAST8, a human resources tech company, in 2008 with her husband, Else Fernanda. They also founded Gadjian, an HR management SaaS startup. Currently, Afia is also a senior associate in the Halal Lifestyle Market at DinarStandard, a growth strategy research and advisory firm.

Antonio Rami, also known as Toni Rami, is a co-founder and COO of Kantox, a foreign currency exchange management platform. He was born in Mallorca in 1986 and now lives in Barcelona, where he has worked at Kantox since it was established in 2011. Prior to Kantox, Rami worked as a consultant of strategy and operations at Deloitte and at Inveready Technology Investment Group as an investment advisor. He is a graduate of ESADE Business and Law School in Barcelona and of Singapore Management University, where he completed a master's degree.

He was also an operations director at a property development company in Makassar. He is also the CEO and co-founder of an oil trading company Sabbia. In 2015, he joined the environment-focused property developer PT Magale Sayana Indonesia as co-founder and president commissioner. He was previously the chief strategy officer of Magale’s latest venture Magalarva.
