Adrian Sugandhi is CEO and co-founder of Sonicboom Indonesia, a platform that uses sound waves to transmit data with no need for an internet connection. He is also a commissioner – supervising management policies – and co-founder of PT. Elite Digital Solusindo, the parent company of Sonicboom. Global citizen Mariano Kostelec is an Argentinian native who has lived in Asia and Europe. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with Management from King’s College London, Kostelec moved to Asia to work at Groupon China (GaoPeng) and Wimbu China. He then moved to Portugal to launch Uniplaces with friends Miguel Amaro and Ben Grech. He is a member of the Entrepreneur Organization in Lisbon and of the Sandbox Network and has appeared on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.

Armed with Asian and European experience, Miguel Amaro co-founded Uniplaces in 2011. University of Nottingham graduate Ben Grech holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Prior to co-founding Uniplaces in 2011, he was a biotech analyst at KBC Peel Hunt and a business analyst at SRC Oxford. He was also an associate at private equity firm HIG Capital for a year and founded NACUE, the UK’s leading membership organization for engaging students in enterprise. Grech is British and is also the founder of Nottingham Entrepreneurs in 2007 which he also presided over until 2009. He was CEO at Uniplaces until 2018 when he left the post and became Non-Executive Chairman.
University of Nottingham graduate Ben Grech holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Before founding Funnybean Technology, parent company of M Mandarin, in 2016, she helped design the app Hello HSK - a platform for foreigners to learn and prepare for the HSK tests.

After graduating from the National University of Singapore in 2012 with a bachelor's in Life and Biomedical Sciences, Utama joined Delta Electronics in 2013. He worked as a biomedical engineer from 2013 to 2017, as part of the R&D teams for joint projects with Singapore's Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN) at Biopolis.In June 2017, he joined JN Medsys in Singapore to conduct research on polymerase chain reaction (PCR) chip projects. He left Medsys in January 2020 to return to Indonesia and run Nusantics full-time as CTO to lead the company's research into genomics-based services.

In 2016, he worked as a private equity associate at American VC Silver Lake. He left UK for Indonesia in 2017 and became the CFO of Ayopop, an android developer for e-commerce platforms and payment apps. Pintek, with Ayopop as shareholder, was established by Fainsilber and Ayopop co-founder Tommy Yuwono in March 2018. Fainsilber remained as CFO at Ayopop until January 2019.

David Pérez Bou is a co-founder and co-CEO as well as deep learning engineer and software architect at Deep Solutions, a producer of deep neural network software for image recognition. He combines this role with positions as an Airport Systems Consultant at Airport Gurus, an airports consultancy firm in Barcelona, and as an IT business consultant at the trade body the International Civil Aviation Organization in Panama. Prior to these positions, Pérez worked at Spanish engineering and defense systems giant Indra System and also previously worked as a software developer at agency Datalab. He studied both Engineering and IT Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

By the time he reached high school, he was earning money writing software for local businesses in Balikpapan in the East Kalimantan province. He decided to read Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada, but during his time in university he also ran a software development house. After graduating with a bachelor's degree, he returned to East Kalimantan and worked for a local newspaper before starting his own in 2006. Between 2006 and 2017, Hilman also founded a digital marketing company catering to local businesses and briefly worked as a big data consultant for PLN, Indonesia's state-owned power company. He exited all his roles in late 2017 to begin work on Arkademi, a new Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) platform.
