A private equity arm of China state-backed conglomerate Citic Group Corp., CITICPE is one of the largest PE investors in China, with RMB 9 billion under management.

Founded in 2015, Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI) is the venture capital arm of Bank Mandiri, Indonesia’s largest bank. He studied foreign relations at the University of California, Berkeley. His most famous deal to date is his US$250,000 investment in Unitech in the early 1990s, which later became UTStarcom. The company went public in 2000, reaching a post-IPO value of over US$5 billion. He was also chairman of 8848.com (the earliest Chinese e-commerce network). Xue has invested in many internet startups in China, including PCPOP, Autohome, Xueqiu, CreatyChina, Community001 and 265.com (bought by Google).

Hirokazu “Hiro” Mashita is a founder and director at M&S Partners Pte Ltd, a venture capital firm based in Singapore. A prolific business angel, he is known to have invested in more than 20 Indian startups in 2015 alone, earning him the nickname “Super Angel from Japan”.

Paulo Mateus Pinto was the CEO of La Redoute Portugal and Spain for four years until 2018 when he stayed on as CEO of La Redoute Portugal. He also joined NERLEI as a board director in 2018, after serving seven years as director and VP of ACEPI.After completing his degree in Economics at the University of Coimbra in 1992, Pinto has worked as country manager of Vertbaudet Portugal for over six years before becoming an international director for the brand at other European countries. In 2007, he left to become the general manager of Redcats until 2013.

Established in 1977, Matrix Partners is an American venture capital firm with offices in San Francisco and Cambridge in the US, as well as in Shanghai, Beijing, Mumbai and Bangalore, and has invested in prominent companies like Apple and FedEx. It participates in all stages of investment and, to date, has invested over US$4 billion and has over US$4 billion currently under management. The company has invested in more than 500 companies and was lead investor in over 150. It has seen more than 100 exits. Recent investments include US$11 million in Brightback Series A and in Klook's Series D.

Chenshan Asset Management was founded in 2016 by Jiang Jian, Edward Tian (Tian Suning) and Chen Haofei. Jiang is also the partner of China Broadband Capital and has led its investments in Dianping, Tujia, Babytree, etc. Tian is the board chairman of China Broadband Capital, founder of Nasdaq-listed AsiaInfo and former CEO of China Netcom Corporation. Chen is the managing director of China International Capital Corp (CICC).

Founded in 2012 by Wang Yawei, the former vice-president of China Asset Management and the founder of Top Ace Asset Management, Qianhe Capital provides asset management, equity investment and investment management services. As of April 2017, Qianhe Capital had RMB 24 billion under management and issued 11 trust plans and asset management plans.

Mari Elka Pangestu is the first female Chinese Indonesian to hold a cabinet position. She was the Minister of Trade from 2004 to 2011 and the Minister of Tourism from 2011 to 2014. She holds a doctorate in Economics from the University of California, USA. Returning to academia at the University of Indonesia, the professor is also part of the Indonesian network of angel investors ANGIN.

Mariko Asmara Yoshihara is the managing director and chairperson of PT JAC Indonesia, which is part of the multinational JAC Recruitment group. She is also one of the most active angel investors in ANGIN, a prominent network of Indonesia’s top angel investors. Her investment focus lies in empowerment, capacity building and agriculture.

As the private equity arm of Hanfor Holdings Ltd., it makes buyout, venture and co-investment within China.

Shenzhen QHFZ Capital Management Co., Ltd. was established in August 2014, with a registered capital of RMB 10 million.
