Co-Founder and Digital Marketing Strategist of IWAK
Nganjuk native, Rushan Faizal, was also among the few students from the rural regency to pursue tertiary education at the Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in Yogyakarta where he majored in Computer Science. Besides Rushan, only three other students from his village, Kebon Agung, went to college. The economic disparity between urban Yogyakarta and his village inspired him and Nisa to set up IWAK, a crowdfunding platform for fish farms operated by the low income villagers in Kebon Agung. Prior to that, Rushan had also co-founded Meseji, a Web-based app to help SMEs automate their text message (SMS) marketing campaigns.

On Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2016 list at age 24, Alfatih Timur (known as Timmy) holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Indonesia (UI). As a student, Timmy initiated UI Faculty of Economy’s first social service program that has since become an annual program where freshman students live and work in villages. He was also the program coordinator for UI’s Indonesia Leadership Development Program. Timmy had worked as a researcher at Indonesia Social Entrepreneurship Association (AKSI) and as an assistant to the CEO at Rumah Perubahan (literally, “House of Change”).

Known online as "Flypig”, this Nankai University graduate was half of the duo that produced Fanpo (Antiwave), a podcast series on foreign and Chinese media that won the 2005 Deutsche Welle's Global Best Podcast. Lin was also chief designer and founder of design brand Da Code; was responsible for launching Youku Buzz marketing programs targeted at Western advertisers and internet users. In 2009 he joined e-retailer startup Light In The Box, which later went global and got listed. In January 2015, he left the position of vice-president to start Fork.

He started out as an internal auditor at Indofood and later became a business strategy analyst. He is also the managing director of S3 Tech Alliance, a startup incubator in Ohio, USA.

Haryanto Tanjo graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California Berkeley in 2009. He worked as an associate consultant at Webster Pacific LLC in San Francisco for over two years before attaining an MBA at the UCLA Anderson School of Management USA in 2014. He had previous stints working at Cisco Systems, Bayer and McKinsey & Company. He left McKinsey and eventually teamed up with a software engineer Grady Laksmono to start Moka, a mobile point-of-sale service. He became the CEO of Moka in August 2014.

Grady Laksmono is a seasoned software engineer. In 2011, he co-founded trueRSVP, a tech-based event management company where he served as CTO for a year. After working as a software engineer for over four years at three companies, he finally left online game company Zynga in 2014. He became a co-founder and the CTO of PT Moka Teknologi Indonesia in April 2014 to launch a mobile point-of-sale service platform.
Grady Laksmono is a seasoned software engineer. He holds a master’s in Computer Science from the University of Southern California in USA and has years of experience in web development and software engineering under his belt. In 2011, he co-founded trueRSVP, a tech-based event management company where he served as CTO for a year. After working as a software engineer for over four years at three companies, he finally left online game company Zynga in 2014. He became a co-founder and the CTO of PT Moka Teknologi Indonesia in April 2014 to launch a mobile point-of-sale service platform.

Gusmantara Ekamukti Himawan, known as Eka, holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, USA. However, he chose a career in finance instead, beginning as a research associate at Independence Capital Asset Partners. After becoming an analyst there, he moved on to become an investment banker at Barclays for two years. He left Barclays in 2012 to co-found Bilna with fellow Purdue alumni Ferry Tenka and Jason Lamuda. He was the CFO of Bilna that merged with Moxy to become Orami. Eka is now the CFO and executive vice chairman of Orami.

Mohammad Ridwan Agustiawan is an experienced software developer and self-professed gamer. He graduated from RWTH Aachen University in Germany, with a master’s in Informatics. He worked there as a research assistant between 2007 and 2009 before returning to Indonesia. He worked as a programmer and product manager in various companies such as Indonesian adtech startup SITTI, before joining digital marketing agency Kana Cipta Media where he still works as acting manager of its technical department. He is also a co-founder and CTO of Sonar, a digital media analytics platform.
