Co-founder of Veniam
One of TIME Magazine's "100 Most Influential People in the World” in 2009, Robin Chase is a Massachusetts-based transportation entrepreneur. She co-founded car sharing startups Zipcar, where she also served as CEO, France's Buzzcar (now merged with Drivy) and GoLoco, as well as car connectivity company Veniam. Today, she is on the boards of Veniam, the World Resources Institute and Tucows, an internet services provider. Chase is married to Roy Russell, CTO and co-founder of Veniam and former founding CTO of Zipcar. She has featured on several influential advisory panels and worked for a decade in health consulting at JSI.

Winner of the 2016 EU Prize for Women Innovators, Portuguese national Susana Sargento has been a professor at the University of Aveiro for almost 16 years. She received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the same university. Her main research interests are self-organized networks, e.g., routing, mobility, delay-tolerant mechanisms and content distribution networks, in ad-hoc and vehicular mechanisms and protocols. In 2012, she co-founded Veniam, a tech startup for connected and autonomous vehicles, where she also worked in engineering and corporate research from 2012 until 2014. She advises the European Commission in her areas of expertise.

Nelson Pereira graduated in Graphic and Industrial Design at Aveiro University in 2005 and obtained a master’s in Engineering Design from the University of Porto in 2009. He also spent a year studying Digital Communications and Multimedia at the University of Porto in 2012.He has worked as a designer and brand manager for INEGI Porto for over nine years until 2015. In 2012, the two friends co-founded startup TOP Research that participated in Rockstart's accelerator program in 2014 and pivoted into TOPDOX. However, since the demise of TOPDOX in December 2017, Jesus is now working as lead designer at Swiss food sustainability platform Foodways. In 2018, the university mates have co-founded another tech startup ikuTeam, with Jesus as lead designer. The file-sharing platform is part of Atlassian Marketplace.

After graduating from Universitas Dian Nuswantoro with a degree in Computer Science, Maulana Bayu Samudra worked as a web designer for Seven Media Technology from 2015 to 2018. Together with former colleague Fadhil Nur Mahardi and food entrepreneur Kaesang Pangarep, he established Indonesian home chef meal service Madhang in late 2017, serving as its first CEO. Maulana later took on the COO role in January 2019.
