MidPlaza Holding is a holding company consisting of businesses in property development and information technology. Founded in 1983, the company’s brands include a major internet service provider Biznet and the Ayana group of residential properties and hotels.

Founded by NetPosa and Shanghai Boyong Asset Management Co. Ltd. in 2016, Boyong Fund focuses on startups that create cutting-edge technology and other core competencies in the fields of video, big data, deep learning and service robots.

Francesc Mora Sagués was the president of MoraBanc based in Andorra for 15 years. He was also the CEO of Morsa Group and adviser at property group Inmobiliaria Colonial. Since 2017, he has been a business angel, partner and founder of Kensington Capital SL, an investment firm headquartered in Andorra and focuses on emerging deep technology startups.   In June 2016, Andorra had the second largest number of electric vehicles in the Iberian peninsula. Andorra’s 6% market share of electric and hybrid vehicles was mainly due to the Principality’s strong public policy for renewable energy and eco-friendly transportation.

A serial entrepreneur, Lu is the founder of car rental company CAR Inc. He is also chairman and founding CEO of car services provider UCAR. In 2003, he founded Beijing Huaxia United Technology Co Ltd, a company that now controls around 67% of China Telecom’s VOIP business in Beijing. In 1995, Lu founded DITEL Technology, a trading company for telecom equipment and supplier of system integration services. He received his bachelor's degree in Industrial Electric Automation from the University of Science & Technology of Beijing and his EMBA from Peking University.

Born in 1979, Cheng is an entrepreneur from Hong Kong. He is the third-generation heir of the Cheng Yu-tung family, which founded the New World and Chow Tai Fook empire. With a BA from Harvard University, Cheng joined the family business in 2015, serving as executive vice chairman at New World Development. In 2008, he invented the concept of “museum-retail” - incorporating art into shopping - by founding the K11 luxury shopping mall brand. In 2017, Cheng and veteran investor Clive Ng cofounded C Ventures, which funds technology-driven businesses from the art, media and fashion sectors.

Taavet Hinrikus is the Estonian-born co-founder and CEO of money transfer platform and unicorn TransferWise (now called Wise).  He was formerly Skype’s Director of Strategy and is a prolific angel investor across sectors and technologies, with investments in around 30 startups to date. His most recent investments include in the April 2021 $11m Series A round of automatic contract negotiator PACTUM and in the March 2021 $48m Series A round of Dutch cell-based meat startup Meatable which leverages pluripotent stem cells for the first time in foodtech.

Skystar Capital is a fund that invests in technology startups in the Asia Pacific region, particularly Indonesia. It is backed by Kompas Gramedia, Indonesia's largest media conglomerate. Skystar Capital is a separate and independent investment arm from Skystar Ventures

China Venture Capital was initiated by the China National Democratic Construction Association Committee in 2000. It focuses on technology SMEs with independent intellectual property rights, investing RMB 5 million to RMB 100 million in each project.

Founded in 1940 by Juan Soler Güell, Quadis is one of the biggest car wholesalers in Spain. Quadis is managed by grandsons Pol and Lluís Soler who have been reinventing and diversifying the family business through investments in emerging automotive technology for electric and hybrid vehicles. The privately owned company has recently backed Wallbox Chargers which designs and manufactures EV chargers that can be remotely managed through mobile apps.

RWA Invest GmbH is the wholesale company and service provider of the Raiffeisen Lagerhaus cooperatives, with over 1,000 distribution points and more than 120,000 cooperative members.The company also launched the Agro Innovation Lab (AIL) acceleration program focused on taking a leading role in cutting-edge technologies and innovation for agritech companies in the European region. The second cohort will involve activities in Austria and Germany.

Co-founded by Alibaba founder Jack Ma and Target Media founder David Yu in 2010, YF Capital focuses on the internet, technology, healthcare, media & entertainment, financial services, logistics and consumer sectors. Its Chinese name “Yunfeng” combines the first names of Jack Ma (Ma Yun) and David Yu (Yu Feng). Headquartered in Shanghai, it also has offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Hangzhou and other Chinese cities; and manages both USD- and RMB-denominated and funds.

Farid Fadhil Habibi worked as a product manager, and later, general manager at software development firm Zamrud Technology before co-founding radio app startup SVARA, which was spun out from Zamrud. Farid was initially SVARA's COO before becoming its CEO at the beginning of 2018. Farid graduated with a bachelor's degree in Information Systems and Technology from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia, where he is currently pursuing his MBA. 

Richard Lim is a co-founder of Jakarta-based coworking operator GoWork. After GoWork's merger with Rework, he became the company's CFO and Chief of Real Estate. Prior to establishing GoWork, Richard had worked at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Bain & Company and business consultancy firm Quvat Management. Richard graduated from Singapore's Nanyang Technological University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. He also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

The venture capital arm of media conglomerate Hearst Corporation, Hearst Ventures made its first investment in 1995 and now conducts all stage investments, with focuses on media and technology startups mainly in the US, China and Europe.
