A Computer Science graduate from the High Institute of Engineering of Lisbon, João Matias is currently a head of IT at 360imprimir, which he co-founded in 2013, where he is striving to automate as many corporate processes as possible. From 2012 to 2013, he worked as a software developer at Safira.

She previously worked for 15 years as Brand Manager at fashion brand Decenio. She lives in Porto.

Paula Sampaio is a biochemist who completed a PhD in biomedical sciences at the University of Porto in 1998. She worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the IMBC INEB Associate Laboratory for four years. In 2002, she was promoted to the role of head of advanced light microscopy and stayed there until 2015. Sampaio is now the national coordinator for Portuguese bioimage platform PPBI and the head of advanced light microscopy at the Institute of Research and Innovation of the University of Porto (i3S).In November 2019, she joined iLoF as CSO and co-founder. iLoF gets technical support from i3S at the R&D center in Porto. The medtech startup focuses on personalized medicine through the use of AI and photonics to create optical fingerprints in a cloud-based library to gather and manages disease biomarkers and biological profiles.

Chen Yalin used to work on supply chains at China National Electronics Import & Export Corporation (CEIEC) and Shanghai Lonyer Fuels Co Ltd. After 2000, he got into international trading at Vinmar International, Tricon Energy. He joined a Swiss trading company in 2008 as head of its Shanghai office. He founded Clever Home in 2015.

Born in Shanghai in 1973, Zhang and his parents immigrated to the US in 1987. He received his bachelor’s in Neurobiology from the University of California, San Francisco in 1995 and his master’s in Biotechnology and Business from Northwestern University in 1999. Zhang worked at Salomon Smith Barney and ABN AMRO Capital from 1999–2001. He then served as managing director and head of China operations at venture capital firm WI Harper Group from 2002–2008. Purdue engineering graduate Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation, he worked as an engineer at Distribution Service Technologies and Sigma Cipta Caraka (Telkomsigma), both IT companies. He subsequently became Head of Business Development at Bayu Buana Travel, a travel company. He eventually quit to start crowdsourcing creative website Sribu in 2011. In 2014, he founded Sribulancer, an online marketplace for freelancers.

Qiu has over 20 years of experience in media. After graduating from Fudan University in 1990, he worked at newspaper Wenhui Daily for 13 years. Qiu has also worked as Editor-in-Chief and head of the Oriental Morning Post, a traditional Chinese newspaper, and CEO of Chinese online media outlet The Paper.

After graduating from Tsinghua University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Xia worked as head of R&D of a new energy control system at the GAC Automotive Engineering Institute. In 2014, he co-founded Xpeng Motors.

After earning his master’s degree in Automotive Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2010, He led R&D of a new energy bus system for Shanghai Expo. He has also served as head of the intelligent vehicle and autonomous driving division at Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd.

Olinggha Pigavetta graduated from Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia, with a bachelor's in Japanese Language and Literature in 2013. Upon graduation, he worked at airport services company Jasa Angkasa Semesta in customer relations and as a translator for Japanese passengers. In 2015, Olinggha became a web designer before co-founding Halal Local, a travel listing and utility app for Muslim travelers, where he is currently its head of development.

Faizal Rahman Hakim is a UI/UX designer and current Chief of Product at Medigo Indonesia. Before graduating with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universitas Indonesia in 2013, Faizal joined Flipbox, the mobile app development subsidiary of digital agency Definite, where he was Flipbox's Head of Design. He later joined Definite's former CEO Harya Bimo to establish Medigo, a platform for outpatient management at hospitals and clinics.

Pedro Gaspar received his Licentiate degree in Computer Engineering from the Higher Institute of Engineering of Lisbon in 2010, after which he joined Portuguese IT services firm Safira as a software engineer. He is currently a head of IT at 360imprimir, a startup he co-founded in 2013. Portuguese national Gaspar holds a qualification in application development in Microsoft SharePoint and is skilled in Java, JavaScript and C#.
