Describing himself as a cashless believer, Danny Lim Wei Xiang has a master’s in Professional Accounting from Tsinghua University in China. The law graduate is also reading a PhD in Law at his alma mater. Danny has worked as a product manager at Baidu and as a financial analyst for Lenovo, before joining games developer Wozlla as VP of Sales and Marketing in 2014. In October 2016, he joined Wozlla’s co-founder Zac Cheah to establish Pundi-Pundi. He is currently the CFO of Pundi X, a cryptocurrency spin-off of Pundi-Pundi.

Sergio Sanchez is the CTO and co-founder of Widuid that was later re-branded as Polaroo, a Spanish household bill management app. He spent eight months working on building the MVP with the Rovira brothers in 2017.The mechanical engineer also completed a master's in Automatic Control and Robotics at his alma mater, the Polytechnic Degree of Barcelona. Like fellow co-founder Marc Rovira, Sanchez was also at space tech startup Zero2Infinity working as a full stack developer and HMI engineer. He has also worked in biotech company Fungitech Global as a mechanical engineer. 

Graduating in 2007 as a civil engineer, Liliana Marques completed a PhD in Steel and Mixed Construction Technologies in 2012 at the University of Coimbra in Portugal. She was a visiting assistant professor and researcher at her alma mater until June 2018.Before co-founding agtech CoolFarm in 2014, Marques had established mobile software development company CoolApps in 2012 with CoolFarm co-founders João Igor and Eduardo Esteves. She was CoolFarm's chief administrative officer in charge of fundraising campaigns until its closure in 2018.

Najelaa Shihab is an education philanthropist. She is the elder sister of Najwa Shihab,  a well-known Indonesian presenter.  After graduating in 1997, Najelaa established an international curriculum school foundation in 1999. She completed a master’s in 2002, also from her alma mater Faculty of Psychology, University of Indonesia.In 2016, she created Sinedu, an online kid-safe educational movies platform and Youthmanual, a career portal for youths. She also founded an Education and Policy Research Institution in 2015 and a teachers’ professional development and school foundation in 2014. She also supports Indonesia’s breastfeeding mothers’ association AIMI.

Graphic and UI/UX designer Miguel Jesus is a graduate from Aveiro University, the alma mater of TOPDOX co-founder Nelson Pereira. Both men had also worked at INEGI Porto before becoming entrpreneurs. In 2012, the two friends co-founded startup TOP Research that participated in Rockstart's accelerator program in 2014 and pivoted into TOPDOX. However, since the demise of TOPDOX in December 2017, Jesus is now working as lead designer at Swiss food sustainability platform Foodways. In 2018, the university mates have co-founded another tech startup ikuTeam, with Jesus as lead designer. The file-sharing platform is part of Atlassian Marketplace.

Originally formed in 2014 as NSI Ventures, Openspace Ventures makes investments in technology companies based in Southeast Asia. Led by Shane Chesson and Hian Goh, Openspace Ventures used to be a part of Northstar Group, a private equity firm primarily invested in the financial services, retail, energy and telecom sectors. In 2018, Chesson and Goh took NSI Ventures independent and rebranded it as Openspace Ventures. They still maintain links with Northstar, with Northstar managing partner Patrick Goh becoming senior advisor to Openspace.

Star Wars fan and robotics engineer Gonçalo Cabrita was the CEO and co-founder of agtech CoolFarm for over three years until September 2018, when the company became insolvent.
