Ayu Purwarianti graduated with a bachelor's in Informatics from Indonesia's Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) in 1999 and has been an Informatics lecturer at her alma mater since 2001. She has since earned a master's in Informatics from ITB and a PhD in Computer Science from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan. Li Zhinan holds a joint master’s degree in Mobile Health from Peking University and the University of California, Los Angeles. He previously worked on R&D on the Bing search engine for Microsoft Research Asia. Li is currently a Mobile Health Committee member at the Chinese Research Hospital Association. In February 2015, he co-founded Sennotech in Shenzhen and has served as CTO ever since.

After four years at Michael Weinig, he became its youngest ever manager for the Greater China Area. Zhou and his team have been working in robotics R&D since 2008 and founded UBTECH in 2012.

The idea was inspired by a personal experience when Windischhofer bought a used smartphone after seeing a classified ad. The phone stopped working after two weeks. The incident prompted him to create an e-commerce platform specializing in selling quality refurbished e-products with carbon-neutral credentials like planting a tree for every sales transaction.

He grew up in Ningbo, a coastal city of China’s eastern Zhejiang Province. In 2011, he graduated from esteemed Zhejiang University with a bachelor's degree. He also studied bioinformatics at North Carolina State University, followed by studies at NUS. Since 2017, he has been an NUS research fellow. Strawberry has his favourite fruit since childhood. After moving to Singapore, he found that strawberries from the local supermarket were nothing close to those he had been eating for years. That sparked his study into the problem of Singapore’s local strawberry market, which in turn caused him to explore the urban farming industry with his plant physiology and molecular biology knowledge. Besides founding Singrow, he is the breeder of the company’s signature White Crystal Strawberry and invented the Fast Cultivation Method.
