Raúl Tapias Herranz was previously a sales manager with Galp Energy. While coordinating a digital transformation project at Galp, Tapias decided to leave behind 17 years in the energy sector to establish digital identity startup Ecertic, where he is currently CEO. Tapias holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Carlos III University in Madrid, which he partially studied in Maastricht in the Netherlands, as well as completing a master's in Marketing and Sales Management from IE Business School.

He is the co-founder, and for the past 11 years, managing director of Promoland Media, a Madrid-based marketing and communications agency. Puga was previously an aircraft avionics technician before completing a marketing degree at the CENP (Spanish Center for New Professions). He was Spanair's marketing director for eight years before founding Promoland Media. Puga also sits on the board of startups Waynabox and Ecertic, a digital identity company of which he is a co-founder.
