Petri Alava has over 15 years of industry experience in logistics, publishing and waste management. In 1989, he completed a master’s in industrial engineering and started his management career at Finncont Oy, a subsidiary of GWS Group. He went on to work at Rocla Oy in 2001 as managing director of the Rocla Robotruck Group with manufacturing units in Finland and Sweden. He also held senior management roles at Vapo Oy and Kekkilä Oy.In 2015, he became the managing partner of Profon Oy and also co-founded cleantech materials startup Infinited Fiber as CEO. Based in Helsinki, he is also currently chairman of various companies, as well as the CEO of Solid Environmental Technologies.

Danny Saksono is a software engineer, graduating in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales. Swedish Lund University systems developer Manfred Ekblad was a chief product officer at software developer LJ Systemutveckling AB. He moved to Jakarta in 2010 as the general manager of PT Biztech Indonesia. He is also a serial entrepreneur, with startups like Avectris SE in 2004, Online Business Indonesia in 2011 and BWI Press in 2013. Manfred is now based in Bandung as co-founder and CTO of Astronaut Technologies, a video-based recruitment platform.

Julien Denoël is the Belgian co-founder and COO of UK-based VR edtech for soft-skills training Bodyswaps, where he has worked since its founding in 2019. Prior to this, he was CEO and managing director at VR marketing agency Somewhere Else from 2016, before the agency pivoted to training and skills development and became the basis of Bodyswaps’ product offer. The agency had clients such as Adidas, for which Somewhere Else produced an interactive VR in-store promotional tool that was deployed in over 100 locations in China, Europe and the US and was nominated for a VR Award and an Immersive Perspective award. Denoël has also been a guest lecturer in VR and AR at INSEEC business school in London and Geneva since 2017. Prior to this, Denoël also co-founded another VR agency, Exheb, in 2014, where he worked for almost three years as VR Producer. He also worked in digital marketing for Quotient Technology, formerly Coupons.com for two years, and in business development and marketing at the WorldOne agency for the same amount of time. Denoël holds both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree from HEC Management School in Liege, Belgium, the former in Marketing and Organization, the latter in Management.

Hannah Michaud first started exploring ways to develop sustainable textiles in 2016 while completing her studies in sustainable fashion at Copenhagen’s KEA School of Design & Technology. She also studied fashion technology and design at the KEA academy from 2012 to 2015.Michaud worked as a fashion design intern at Danish company Barbara I Gongini in 2016 and also at Weekend CPH in 2014. After her graduation in 2017, she decided to continue her research work on sustainable fabrics as co-founder and chief creative officer of Danish alt-leather startup, Beyond Leather Materials ApS, in Copenhagen.Originally from Maine, US, Michaud also studied music as a classical flutist at the University of Maine, where she was first chair in its Symphony Orchestra, and Sustainable Agriculture in the university’s Natural Science and Forestry department.

A self-taught cybersecurity enthusiast, Wenas Agusetiawan was able to hack into various Indonesian and Singaporean networks at a young age. Luckily, he was 16 and escaped with only a penalty fine whilst living with his family in Singapore. He left to study in Australia and eventually became an IT professional. Wenas graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s in Computer Science from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Canada. He founded software developer PhaseDev, gaming platform Bouncity and e-book distributor WayangForce. In 2011, he co-founded Tiket.com but stepped down as CEO after the acquisition by Blibli in 2017.

The Information and Computing Science graduate went on to the Institute of Remote Sensing Applications (IRSA) at the Chinese Academy of Sciences to pursue a PhD in Microwave Remote Sensing in 2015. He and a few friends created a 3-in-1 printer with 3D printing and scanning functions.In 2016, he led the team to conduct research to apply 3D printing technology in the footwear industry.
