Ex-McKinsey consultant and Amadeus engineer Jaime Laulhé lived in New York, Paris and Hong Kong before returning to his native Madrid to work at McKinsey, where he spent two years. Michael Sugianto joined the Startup Weekend 2015 event, while reading his bachelor's degree in Business Information System at Universitas Bina Nusantara. Michael and other team members spent over 54 hours developing the idea for a farm-to-table online marketplace. The team won the runner-up prize, and the business idea was further developed into TaniHub.Michael graduated in 2016 and decided to focus on building TaniHub full-time. In 2017, the TaniHub team also launched the agri-focused P2P lending platform TaniFund, expanding TaniHub into the TaniGroup.

The accounting graduate from Universitas Trisakti later became the CEO of both TaniHub and TaniFund, collectively known as TaniGroup.

From 2011 to 2015, he worked as an associate at K&L Gates. He was among the lead lawyers on several M&A cases, including the acquisition of NuoMi by Baidu.
