Formerly a financial analyst, Ioann Fainsilber graduated from the University of Bath in UK, with a bachelor's in business administration in 2012. He also has a master's in Finance and Private Equity from the London School of Economics. While at university, he worked briefly as an analyst at Essilor's USA and Lloyd's Banking Group. He also acted as financial advisor for a student advertising company for over two years in Bristol while studying for his degree.In 2014, Fainsilber joined Morgan Stanley as a tech analyst. In 2016, he worked as a private equity associate at American VC Silver Lake. He left UK for Indonesia in 2017 and became the CFO of Ayopop, an android developer for e-commerce platforms and payment apps. Pintek, with Ayopop as shareholder, was established by Fainsilber and Ayopop co-founder Tommy Yuwono in March 2018. Fainsilber remained as CFO at Ayopop until January 2019.

David Pérez Bou is a co-founder and co-CEO as well as deep learning engineer and software architect at Deep Solutions, a producer of deep neural network software for image recognition. He combines this role with positions as an Airport Systems Consultant at Airport Gurus, an airports consultancy firm in Barcelona, and as an IT business consultant at the trade body the International Civil Aviation Organization in Panama. Prior to these positions, Pérez worked at Spanish engineering and defense systems giant Indra System and also previously worked as a software developer at agency Datalab. By the time he reached high school, he was earning money writing software for local businesses in Balikpapan in the East Kalimantan province. He decided to read Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada, but during his time in university he also ran a software development house. After graduating with a bachelor's degree, he returned to East Kalimantan and worked for a local newspaper before starting his own in 2006. Between 2006 and 2017, Hilman also founded a digital marketing company catering to local businesses and briefly worked as a big data consultant for PLN, Indonesia's state-owned power company. He exited all his roles in late 2017 to begin work on Arkademi, a new Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) platform.
