In 2017, Ricardo Santos became the CEO and co-founder of Heptasense. In November 2018, the Portuguese national has also founded Rocha Capital, a private fund to invest in other startups. Santos obtained a master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Higher Technical Institute in Lisbon in 2015. He also has a degree in Biomedical Engineering and Biophysics from the University of Lisbon. Prior to co-founding Heptasense, he was a research fellow at the Portuguese Institute of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering. He was also a Biomedical Engineering summer intern at the University of Nottingham in the UK in 2013.

Mauro Peixe has been the co-founder and CTO of Heptasense since 2016. The Portuguese national helped to build BPI's banking app when he worked as a software engineer at the major Portuguese bank based in Oporto. He has a master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Higher Technical Institute in Lisbon.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Nicko Batubara had built a strong career in banking. After graduating in 2012 with a bachelor's in Industrial Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, Nicko joined Citibank as a financial officer and rose to become an Assistant Vice President in 2015. He left the company in 2017 to establish logistics service startup Pakde.

Francisco Mendes is the CTO, Head of Innovation and co-founder of BEEVERYCREATIVE, the innovative 3D printer and software producer in Portugal. In 2010, he co-founded the startup's preliminary project bitBOX that was transformed into BEEVERYCREATIVE in 2013.Mendes is also a co-founder of Hardware City, a community of entrepreneurs that links hardware startups to manufacturers. He has worked in R&D at Tellus Mater and Milenio 3 in Portugal. He has a master's in Industrial Automation from the University of Aveiro in Portugal.

In April 2013, Jorge Pinto became the Head of R&D, CIO and Co-founder of BEEVERYCREATIVE . He was also a co-founder and Head of R&D at bitBOX Electronic Systems that was pivoted into BEEVERYCREATIVE in 2013.Pinto is also working as a software and firmware developer at German startup BFO Mobility and at an international open-source project for Chinese startup Ebike Motor Controllers. He was previously employed as an electronics engineer at Portuguese firmware company Tetracis Plurirede and energy company Aveicabo. Pinto has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Aveiro, Portugal. 

Aurora Baptista has been a co-founding partner of BEEVERYCREATIVE since 2012 when it was known as bitBOX. She became its new CEO in August 2015. The Portuguese graduate in Business Management was also a postgrad at Harvard University in 2005.In 2008, Baptista started her own consultancy Cumprir Metas, Lda. She was an administrator at McKinsey for three years before becoming a partner at Arthur Andersen in 1990 for 11 years. She later became a partner at SGG Serviços Gerais deGestão (SGG) for over 18 years and a partner at Deloitte for seven years until 2008.

Sun received his bachelor's in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications. In 2012, he and future co-founder of Codemao Li Tianchi both began a European master's program in Human Computer Interaction. Sun worked with Li and other students to build a software called Settler in 2013, which helped international students studying in France find banks, apartments, etc. Both Sun and Li were kicked out of the startup due to differences of opinion. In 2014, just months before Sun would have graduated in 2015, he quit the program, giving up three degrees, returned to China and founded Codemao with Li.

Liang graduated from Fudan University with a bachelor's degree in Physics in 2004 and received his MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2013. He worked as an account manager at GE from 2004 to 2008. In 2010, Liang joined Aramark, a US food service, facilities, and uniform services provider, and served successively as business development manager and regional operations director. After returning to China in 2014, he founded Shenzhen Easyhin Technology Co., Ltd.

Inspired by his own weight loss experience, former business consultant William Susilo founded the Gorry Holdings group of health and wellness startups: GorryGourmet, GorryWell and Helopt. Before becoming an entrepreneur, William worked for Accenture and Sinar Mas Land between 2012 and 2016, while also spending time at CT Corp, the holding company of a major Indonesian conglomerate. William graduated with a bachelor's in accounting from the University of Indonesia.

Herry Budiman joined William Susilo to establish diet catering startup GorryGourmet in 2014, becoming the company's COO. Herry had previously worked at major Indonesian F&B and hospitality firms the Boga Group and Culture Royale Group. 

Amy Du is Co-founder of DefinedCrowd and was CEO from its founding in October 2015 until September 2016. She is originally from Beijing, China and is now based in Seattle, where she is Founder and CEO of VestLink Group, connecting innovators and startups internationally. She has also worked at DGT Information Systems, Chinasoft International and iSoftStone North America, driving growth in the three entities. She holds degrees from the University of Sheffield, UK, and from Beijing Jiaotong University. 

Data scientist, linguist and researcher Daniela Braga is the co-founder and CEO of DefinedCrowd. She was previously President and Chief Scientist at the company, and, before that held various data science management positions at VoiceBox Technologies in Bellevue, Washington State. She spent almost seven years as a program manager at Microsoft, also in Bellevue, and has held various positions at the University of Washington, University of A Coruña, Spain, and University of Porto, Portugal.  She has a PhD in Speech Technology from the University of A Coruña and a Master's in Applied Linguistics from the University of Minho, Portugal. 

Video game developer Kris Antoni Hadiputra had his start creating mobile games at Matahari Studios in 2008. In 2009, he teamed up with fellow developer Sudarmin Then to create their own games under the banner of Toge Productions, creating their first hit, the zombie-themed game Infectonator within its first year. Toge Productions has since grown to become a full-fledged game development and publishing studio. Kris graduated from Murdoch University, Australia in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in Games Art and Design.

Having earned his master’s degree in Optical Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University, Lin received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. In May 2008, he joined NEC Labs America, where he performed research on machine learning and computer vision. In November 2015, Lin was made director of Baidu’s Institute of Deep Learning. In March 2017, he was promoted to head of Baidu Research. Six months after being promoted, Lin left Baidu to found Aibee.

Diogo Quental is a Portuguese entrepreneur, with an MBA from INSEAD in Paris and a master's in Chinese Studies from the University of Aveiro in Portugal. He also specialized in Additive Manufacturing at MIT in 2018. In April 2012, he co-founded bitBOX Electronic Systems that became BEEVERYCREATIVE in 2013, with Quental as CEO until 2015. He then worked in Germany for almost two years before moving to China in 2017 to work at Raise3D Technologies until August 2018. He returned to Europe as Raise3D's general manager for Europe and Global VP Strategy, Partnerships & International Business Development.
