Established in 2007, Hongkun Yirun Investment is an investment management firm under Hongkun Group. It has invested in over 50 enterprises, more than 10 of which have been listed. Assets under management have exceeded RMB 10 billion. Hongkun Yirun Investment targets emerging industries and focuses on asset management, private equity investment, M&A and internet finance.

Enrique González Sancho is the co-founder and CTO of Nido Robotics. The business idea of Digitanimal partly came about because of Blanco’s personal experience with his own livestock. Using IoT remote tracking, detecting heat and parturition through the use of sensors , which are analyzed to reflect the behavior of the cattle and notify alert ranchers to the anomalies detected, he was able to save a mother and calf from a difficult delivery. In another incident, the technology helped alert him to the attack of wolves. Blanco holds both a first degree and a master's degree from Madrid's Alfonso X El Sabio University, the former in Technical Engineering in Industrial and Product Design and the latter in Industrial Engineering and Industrial Electronics. He then worked as an industrial engineer at both private company Retailgas and at Alfa Imaging, the startup co-founded by Carlos Callejero, with whom Blanco later co-founded SensoWave.

DCP Capital is an international private equity firm that mainly invests in Asia. The DCP team previously led KKR and Morgan Stanley’s private equity businesses in Asia. Over the past 27 years, it has invested in a number of leading enterprises including Ping An Insurance, Mengniu Dairy, CICC and Haier Electronics. Investments during 2020 include two Egyptian startups: mobile teleradiology medtech Rology’s $860,000 seed funding in September and mental health medtech platform Shezlong’s Series A round in June.
