German native Mikael Eydt graduated in economics in 2016 at Erlangen-Nürnberg’s Friedrich-Alexander University. He worked at his family’s hotel company in Germany while studying at university from 2011 to 2016. Eydt also briefly worked in sales for insurance company Debeka and completed his national service as a soldier in Germany. In 2017, Eydt went back to work as a junior manager at family-owned Hotel Eydt in Kirchheim.Currently based in Copenhagen, he is now the CEO and co-founder of Danish alt-leather biotech, Beyond Leather Materials, that produces vegan leather materials from apple waste. He was responsible for the startup’s business development for two years before becoming CEO in July 2020.

Brian Sefton has been co-founder, a board member and a part-time advisor at NovoNutrients, a San Francisco-based biotech manufacturer of alt-protein produced from fermentation and CO2 since it was founded in 2017. In 2009, he co-founded research entity Oakbio, from which NovoNutrients evolved, and was its President and CTO.  Sefton was CTO and President at NovoNutrients and also co-CEO and Chief Scientist at Oakbio until 2021 when he became the CEO at San Francisco-based fermentation commercialization startup Sincarne. Between 2005 and 2011, Sefton was also CEO at pharma research company Pharmadyn, working on drugs development for Alzheimer's Disease, and, for three of those years, was also Managing Partner of Stratsyn, a consultancy specializing in creation, development, management and fund raising for not-for-profit organizations. Sefton’s earlier posts include: directing nanotechnology commercialization and investment company Nanosig for three years, CEO of Silicon Valley’s Fastlane, a high-profile pioneer in real-time network traffic and security analysis for six years; and, simultaneously, being CEO at Bluebox Communications,  developing high-end network security applications and appliances for Fortune 500 companies and the US government.Sefton holds an MBA from Santa Clara University in California and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley 

New media and branding pro Wu Jing is a graduate of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (now named BeiHang University), and a former staff of ELLE magazine and leading advertising agency BBDO. The founder of GirlUp is also a co-founder of Happy Together (Chunguangli), a startup incubator and venture capital firm focusing on internet projects.

University of California Los Angeles graduate, Steven Gomedi, has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After graduation in 2010, he worked at PT Nikivalasarta Jaya and PT Bangun Usaha Energi Perkasa, as operational manager and business development executive, respectively. He met the other Arsitag co-founders while studying in California. He joined Arsitag in November 2015.

While majoring in Computer Science at the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE), Hugo Silva co-founded Unbabel, where he is a full stack developer and now works full-time. Before college, Silva had worked as a web developer at various companies, including Dezine, which was co-founded by fellow Unbabel co-founder Vasco Pedro, Streetdog Studio and Bomsite. 

Abednego Pramudito is a graduate from Indonesia’s Trisakti University and a former banking colleague of Taralite co-founder Abraham Viktor. He is Taralite’s operations manager and also a product manager at Smart Dent Dental Supply. Abednego originally joined Wedlite as a co-founder and stayed on when the wedding finance concept was transformed into a bigger consumer and business loans platform Taralite.

Shahriansyah Candraditya graduated in 2015 from the Nagoya University of Foreign Studies, Japan, with a degree in Corporate Communications. He returned to Indonesia to join Shinwa Nonwoven Indonesia, a Japanese-owned fabrics manufacturer. He subsequently left to co-found aquaculture investment crowdfunding platform Growpal, where he is currently CMO.

Luis Manent is a co-founder and CEO of Wide Eyes, a visual search engine for the fashion and retail industry. Manent had previously managed and consulted with both large companies and SMEs across a variety of industry sectors, from healthcare and logistics to retail and fashion. Manent holds an Executive MBA from Spain's IESE business school.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Nicko Batubara had built a strong career in banking. After graduating in 2012 with a bachelor's in Industrial Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, Nicko joined Citibank as a financial officer and rose to become an Assistant Vice President in 2015. He left the company in 2017 to establish logistics service startup Pakde.

Founder and CEO of Maimai. Lin studied computer science at Tsinghua University. He studied for half a year at the University of Maryland after graduation, then went back to China and joined Sogou, a search engine startup that later grew into a unicorn. He worked in Sogou for seven years, then briefly at a recruitment website, before deciding to start Maimai.

An alumnus of the University Institute of Lisbon, Jorge Correia majored in Management and received his master’s in Business Administration in 2011. After graduating, Correia went on to work as an operations analyst and then a controller at B2B2C mail operator Adicional Logistics. In 2013, he co-founded 360imprimir, a printing B2B marketplace, where he works as CFO.

Heinrich Vincent graduated with a bachelor's in architecture from Universitas Tarumanagara, Indonesia in 2016. He worked as a freelance architect upon graduating, but eventually decided to start a community of individuals who pooled their funds to invest in an Indonesian convenience store franchise. The concept was further developed into equity crowdfunding platform Bizhare, which Heinrich established in 2017.

Theodorus Budiyanto graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. After graduating in 2016, he joined data analytics company Splunk as a software engineer. In 2018, he returned to Indonesia to join university classmate Surya Halim and former teaching assistant Raymond Christopher to establish Delman, their own data wrangling and analytics company.

Founded in 2000, Shan Xiangshuang's private equity outfit China Science & Merchants Investment Management Group (CSC) has about US$10 billion under management. It has an extensive network in China and built relationships with more than 1,000 LPs. Dubbed "China's Schwarzman," Shan set up CSC with RMB 600,000. The company went public on China's New Third Board (NEEQ) in 2015, where it raised almost US$2 billion.

Global Brain Corporation is an early stage venture capital fund based in Tokyo, Japan. It was founded in 1998 and has expanded globally, with offices in South Korea’s Seoul, Southeast Asia and Silicon Valley, USA. Leveraging its global network, the company aims to nurture world-class venture companies through investments and hands-on support. It also offers corporate venture capital fund management services and currently manages three such funds.
