Co-founder and CEO of Unbabel
Unbabel's Co-founder and CEO Vasco Pedro is a language technology expert and serial entrepreneur and holds a bachelor’s degree in Language and Knowledge Engineering from the University of Lisbon, and a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Language Technologies from Carnegie Mellon University. While at Carnegie Mellon, he interned at Siemens Medical Solutions and Google. Before co-founding Unbabel, he had co-founded adtechs Bueda and Dezine. Indra Halim graduated in 2003 with a degree in Business and IT from RMIT University in Australia. He has been an investor in Medan’s Gelato Bar since 2010. A senior engineer with nearly two decades of experience, Pedro Moreira was a consultant for 11 years before he became a project manager at Aguas do Porto. He is currently an IT director at Aguas do Porto.In 2015, Moreira co-founded Portuguese startup Knok Healthcare, now known as Knokcare. The healthtech’s chief strategist is also an assistant professor at the Polytechnic of Porto’s School of Engineering. In 2011, Yang earned his master’s degree in Control Science and Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology. From 2011 until January 2015, he worked as an electric vehicle project manager at Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. In June 2014, he co-founded Xpeng Motors with He Xiaopeng, Xia Heng and He Tao in Guangzhou. After leaving Xpeng Motors in 2017, Yang joined Qeebike, an electric bike-sharing startup based in Hangzhou, and has served as its CTO ever since.
In 2011, Yang earned his master’s degree in Control Science and Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology. Victor Darmadi is a veteran software engineer who built his career at various German companies and multinational corporations. He worked as an intern for a Daimler-Chrysler subsidiary and Siemens, joining ITC Automotive as a software engineer on graduation. He spent over 10 years at Gracenote, an entertainment data service company acquired by Nielsen in 2017, before returning to Indonesia to join microlending startup JULO. Victor holds a master's degree in Business Computing from the University of Applied Sciences (FHW) Berlin, Germany.

Agung Bezharie Hadinegoro is co-founder and CEO of smart retail kiosk startup Warung Pintar. Agung had previously co-founded two creative agencies in Bandung, where he was a multimedia designer and was the program director of the Global Entrepreneurship Program Indonesia. He was also an associate at East Ventures, taking on the role of interim general manager of the company's coworking extension, EV Hive. He met Thibaud Plaquet, who would become a co-founder at Datanest, when the two were hired to head a joint-venture between two marketing consultancy companies. After the project wound down, Manggala and Thibaud established Datanest in 2017.

Though the business failed after two years, they utilised the rich experience they gained and founded the much more successful Ximalaya in 2012.
