Nominated as one of 21 most revolutionary Spanish techpreneurs under 35 by Business Insider in May 2019, Manuel de la Esperanza co-founded Wave with fellow alumnus Luis Gelado Crespo from the University Pontifica de Comillas (ICAI-ICADE). In June 2018, both men also co-founded GeoDB, a blockchain-powered location big data digital marketplace.Before founding Wave in 2013, the business management and law graduate had also founded a creative digital agency in Madrid. The success of Wave's private "family and friends" tracking app has led to the setting up of Wave Location Technologies.

Writer and serial entrepreneur Brilliant Yotenega started his career in 2001 when he co-founded a printing and advertising company PT Pelangi Grafika in Surabaya, East Java. One of his biggest successes is self-publishing platform NulisBuku where writers can order printed books on demand. After five years in 2015, NulisBuku co-founders Brilliant and Aulia Halimatussaidah went on to create a digital storytelling platform Storial and media network Zetta Media. The industrial and product designer from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya has also published bestsellers like "Eye of the Storm" and "Rahasia Salinem".

Pablo Rabanal holds a degree in Business Administration and Economics as well as one master's in Audiovisual Management and another in Internet Business.He started his career in the entertainment sector as a TV/movie producer and distributor for Esicma. He was CEO at Bwin and started a joint venture facilitating private investments in audiovisual products with British group Future Film.Since 2012, Rabanal has served as CEO and founder of Reclamador.es, a web platform that manages and automates consumer claims, which has over 25,000 clients and collected more than €40m in compensation for users to date.

Wang Anquan joined the Alibaba Group in 2006. He was the technology director at Ali Financial, director of Taobao Loan Division and assistant to the MD of Ali Financial.In 2013, Wang and a colleague at Ali jointly developed the MVP of Webull to provide market intelligence. He then joined HengFeng Bank in 2014 as the president of the Department of Online Financial Asset Transaction. Wang joined Xiaomi in 2015 as the general manager of Xiaomi Finance. In 2016, he founded Fumi Technology with Webull as its main platform. Xiaomi is one of Fumi's early investors.

Carlos Matilla Codesal is co-founder and CEO of Spanish drone technology company FuVeX, which has been in operation since 2015. He was founder and president of FuVe-E, a student entrepreneurial association for participating in international engineering competitions at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), where Matilla earned his degree in Aerospace Engineering in 2014. He managed two FuVe-E projects: designing one of the world's first gyrocopter UAVs and constructing an unmanned underwater vehicle. Matilla also studied Naval Architecture at UPM. He earned his Executive MBA from EOI Business School in 2017.

He is also founder and CEO of LeadToWin and CEO of Plexiled Lighting, S.L. and is a specialist in digital transformation and lead generation channels and a professor at Inesdi Digital Business School. 

Valentinus Boentaran is CTO and co-founder of Sonicboom Indonesia, a platform that offers data transmission via sound waves without the need for an internet connection. He has a degree in Computer Science from DigiPen Institute of Technology in Washington and one in Mathematics and Business Administration from Concordia University Irvine. He has worked on projects from Disney and Lucasfilm games.

Lynette Kucsma has an MBA and BSc Marketing. She has worked in the technology and consumer goods sectors, including a marketing and communication role in Fortune 500 companies like Microsoft.Based in Barcelona, she is passionate about healthy eating and technology. In 2012, Kucsma co-founded Natural Machines to design food-grade home appliances for both B2B and B2C customers. The company recently launched a 3D food printer equipped with laser-cooking technology.Kucsma was named by CNN as one of “7 tech superheroes” to watch. She also mentors startups in the hardware and IoT space.

Set up in 2012 by Jackie Chen (Chen Liang) and Sebastian Kübler, who together with Raymond Lei (Lei Yang) founded Taishan Invest AG, one of China's first angel funds. TXD Ventures is an early-stage investor focusing on Chinese consumer startups, particularly online- and/or mobile-based. Its investments range from RMB 1 million to RMB 6 million.

One of the world’s oldest venture capital firms, Greylock Partner was founded in 1965 in Cambridge, Massachusetts by Bill Elfers and Dan Gregory, and later Charlie Waite. It has offices in Silicon Valley, San Francisco and Wellesley and over US$3.5 billion under management. Focused on early-stage startups, Greylock has backed more than 120 profitable M&As and more than 170 IPOs, including Facebook, LinkedIn and Workday.

Pedro Luis Uriarte Santamarina was the CEO of Spanish multinational bank BBVA from 1994 to 2001. He was also the Regional Minister-Economy & Finance of the first autonomous government of the Basque Country region in Spain. After being one of the creators of the Basque Agency for Innovation, Uriarte became an early investor of Indexa Capital and Bewa7er, both of which are co-founded by Unai Asenjo Barra.

Founded in 1940 by Juan Soler Güell, Quadis is one of the biggest car wholesalers in Spain. Quadis is managed by grandsons Pol and Lluís Soler who have been reinventing and diversifying the family business through investments in emerging automotive technology for electric and hybrid vehicles. The privately owned company has recently backed Wallbox Chargers which designs and manufactures EV chargers that can be remotely managed through mobile apps.

Central Capital Ventura is backed by Bank Central Asia (BCA), one of Indonesia's largest banks. The venture capital firm is focused on identifying and investing in fintech and other technologies that can potentially support BCA's own businesses and service ecosystem. Central Capital Venture has backed Indonesian microlending company JULO and Singapore payments processing company Wallex. It has also invested in Gerbang Pembayaran Nasional (GPN), Indonesia's new national card-based payment gateway system.

The 10100 Fund (pronounced "ten one-hundred") was established by former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick as a vehicle for both his for-profit investments and non-profit projects. The fund focuses on China and India and has been described as a "home to [Kalanick's] passions, investments, ideas and big bets". 10100 had earlier invested in Kalanick's venture to develop kitchens for on-demand food delivery, CloudKitchens (now known as City Storage Systems).

InvestIdea Ventures is an Indonesia-focused venture capital firm. It invests in early stage web and mobile-based companies, providing funding, advice and networking support. Founded in 2011, InvestIdea has been selective in building its portfolio, having invested in only six companies so far. Among its portfolio companies are language education platform Cakap (formerly Squline), healthcare platform Halodoc (which was co-founded by one of InvestIdea's partners) and online brochure maker IMOOJI.
