Co-founder, CTO of Consumers Trust
Vítor Vilela is the Portuguese co-founder and CTO of Consumers Trust, the company behind consumer complaints platform Portal da Queixa, founded in 2009. With a background in I.T., Vitela has worked at at Consumers Trust since 2012, where he started as Full Stack Developer. He also worked at digital agency Megaklique Multimedia from 2010 until 2016. Ronald Ishak has been involved in tech startups since 2008 when he became Web Applications Manager, Online Trading at PT Ciptadana Capital and led a team of developers to build an online stock trading app for the Indonesian Stock Exchange. In August 2009, he became CTO at web developer company, PT Domikado, and left in January 2014 when the company was acquired. Meanwhile, in 2010, he co-founded his first (short-lived) company, which developed a photo sharing app for mobile platforms. For nine months from November 2014, he was CTO at PT Giftcard Indonesia, which distributes digital giftcards for brands. In 2016, he co-founded Hacktiv8, a training center that runs web development bootcamps and other programming courses, with Riza Fahmi and is its CEO. Ishak is also partner at RMKB Ventures, an Indonesian VC that has backed, among others, insurtech firm Qoala, “CTO-as-a-service” startup Rebel Works and Hacktiv8.

After earning a bachelor's in Information Technology from Universitas Bina Nusantara in 2003, he worked as a programmer for PT Ainet Indonesia, developing systems like SMS alerts and school administration platforms. In 2007, he left PT Ainet Indonesia and worked for various companies, including news portal Okezone. From 2013 to 2015, he worked as a developer at edtech platform HarukaEDU and, from 2015 to 2016, he was CTO of Citizen Lab, a Belgian SaaS platform for smart cities to get feedback from the public. He returned to Indonesia in 2016 and co-founded Hacktiv8 with Ronald Ishak. He also has a master's in Information Technology from Universitas Indonesia.

After earning his PhD in Electronic Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2009, Zhu Mingjie conducted post-doctoral research on database and information systems at the Max Planck Institute for Computer Science in Germany from June 2009 to April 2010. He then worked as a research engineer at Yahoo! until February 2011. From May 2011 to July 2013, he worked first as a senior product manager and later as a data scientist at eBay Inc. He then returned to China and served as Ctrip's Data Director until June 2015. He founded CraiditX in December 2015.

Nuno Fonseca is the sole founder of Sound Particles, the Portuguese 3D audio software platform for sound designers. Fonseca had been working on his technology since 2012 while working in other roles and founded Sound Particles in 2016. For almost 18 years, Fonseca was Program Coordinator for Digital Games and Multimedia at the Polytechnic University of Leiria. Simultaneously, for six years until 2018, Fonseca was a teacher of Music Technology at Lisbon's Higher School of Music. His educational achievements include a PhD in Computer Engineering in the area of audio production. He has also published two books and more than 20 academic papers on audio technology.

Co-founder of VUE Vlog, Li Zaolu graduated from Beijing University of Technology in computer science although she was more interested in business management. Upon graduation, she worked in business development for Nokia, NetEase and Wandoujia. She was one of the founding partners of NetEase's Youdao dictionary. In Wandoujia, she led the business development team to bring in new users. Some 700,000 new users started to use the app everyday compared to only 10,000 a day when she started. From 2014 to 2015, Wandoujia's business share was taken by tech giants. In 2016, Li Zaolu left Wandoujia and co-founded VUE.
