Karen Scofield Seal is the CEO and co-founder of Oceanium, a Scottish startup developing marine-safe bio packaging and plant-based food and nutrition products from sustainably farmed seaweed. During the 90s she lived in New York working as Senior Manager and Producer for the National Football League, as Production Supervisor and Event director at the US OPEN Tennis, and as Coordinating Producer at ABC News.She later moved to London with her husband, where she worked in Comic Relief and in RED, liaising with Apple, American Express and Converse partnerships. In 2009 she co-founded LUCZA, a luxury e-commerce active since 2014. There, she executed marketing and PR strategies including offline and online 
initiatives.

Andrea Barber is the Spanish co-founder and CEO of RatedPower, which produces software to automate the design of solar power plants. She has worked there since 2017. She is simultaneously co-founder and podcaster at Vostok 6, a Spanish podcast about women in business. Prior to RatedPower, Andrea spent six years working in business development at renewable energy company Solida, based largely in Brazil and Chile, where she had the idea for her later startup. She also spent time in Brazil at the Spanish Chamber of Business and Industry, and at Henkel in San Francisco, working in business intelligence and marketing. She holds a degree in Business Management from Carlos III University of Madrid.

Since 2008, after completing a business course at Royal Roads University in Canada, Shaun Frankson has been running his own consultancy Frankson Media in Vancouver.From 2009 to 2014, Frankson worked as VP at Nero Global Tracking, a SaaS platform for mobile vehicles founded by David Katz. In 2013, the duo co-founded Plastic Bank in 2013 to launch a “Social Plastic” movement to reduce ocean plastic and set up recycling centers to create jobs to improve the livelihood of locals in under-served coastal villages. The Canadian co-founder is now the CTO of Plastic Bank. In 2014, he also became an advisor at HeroX, a social network for innovation with over 2m members.

Nganjuk native Hestyriani Anisa Widyaningsih (known as Nisa) was one of the few students from the rural regency to pursue tertiary education at the Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in Yogyakarta, where she majored in Japanese Literature. After graduation, Nisa and a UGM friend Rushan, decided to set up IWAK; a crowdfunding platform to kickstart commercial fish farming businesses to help poor families to improve their livelihoods in Rushan’s home village of Kebon Agung in Nganjuk. Nisa also works in public relations for another company, Otoman.

Hadi Darmanto is a software developer with over 10 years of experience. He graduated in 2001, with a degree in Information Technology from the Universitas Padjadjaran in Indonesia. In 2005, Hadi co-founded Asta Global Informatika, a custom software and hardware development company. He also joined Hendy Wijaya and Ganjar Satyanegara to establish the vehicle tracking app Trax Center in 2014. Hadi then left Asta Global Informatika to become the CEO and CTO of Trax Center in 2016.

Alvaro Pinto has worked on Aptoide's development since 2009, been a co-founder since the app was officially launched in 2011 and has served as COO since 2013. He co-founded AppCoins cryptocurrency for Aptoide's app store in 2017. Former President of the Association of Portuguese Open Source Software Companies (ESOP), Pinto graduated from the University of Lisbon in 1995. Pinto acted as CEO of Mr.Net Consulting from 2007 to 2012 and of Full IT from 2012 to 2015.

André Sousa has a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Porto, but his passion lies in web development and building mobile applications. Sousa enjoys making responsive websites and has been building apps on iOS and Android since 2010.João Magalhães and Sousa co-founded software company Iterar in 2011 and healthtech Knokcare in 2015. Sousa is the mobile developer for both startups.

Describing himself as an entrepreneur with a strong technical background, Miguel Pousa is a co-founder and CTO of Wide Eyes, a visual search engine for the fashion and retail industry. Pousa studied Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Vigo before specializing in Computer Vision and AI for his master's at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. His master's thesis focused on 3D hand pose recognition that was based on work done during his internship at Oblong Industries in Barcelona. 

Long Long Yu graduated from the University of Siena in Italy with a degree in Software Engineering, later specializing in Computer Vision and AI at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2013, he co-founded Wide Eyes, a visual search engine for the fashion and retail industry, where he is its head of research.  His technical interests include biometric pattern analysis, visual object tracking, machine learning and object detection. Originally from China, Yu speaks Chinese, Italian, Spanish and English. 

A self-described "data geek and new technology enthusiast," Manggala Ratulangie is the CEO and co-founder of data science service startup Datanest. He was previously an IT engineer and an SAP consultant, and has worked with various companies to build internal-use software. He met Thibaud Plaquet, who would become a co-founder at Datanest, when the two were hired to head a joint-venture between two marketing consultancy companies. After the project wound down, Manggala and Thibaud established Datanest in 2017.

Robbi Baskoro graduated in IT and has worked in both government and private sectors for over 12 years. He worked as an assistant at the Directorate General of Higher Education from 2010 to 2018. Based in Surabaya and Jakarta, he has also started his own company Nusaraya in 2010. The serial entrepreneur is also the co-founder and commissioner of gaming and lifestyle website Duniaku.net. He has exited various ventures and managed a software development house prior to co-founding Logisly as CTO.

Manuel Moreno is a telecommunication engineer with a passion for software development. Moreno is also a serial entrepreneur. In 2006 he co-founded Noaris with his business partner, Julio Pernía Aznar. Noaris specialized in SaaS and cloud computing for the insurance sector and Reparanet, a Noaris spin-off, which became the biggest SaaS platform for repair companies in Spain. More recently, he co-founded, also with Pernía Aznar, Bdeo, an intelligence platform for underwriting and claims process, which he led in the role of CTO.

Riki Kawano Suliawan is the founder of RRQ, one of the most popular Indonesian eSports team. Riki founded and is CEO of Qeon Interactive, a Jakarta-based ICT company which provides online gaming and Internet value-added services. He also founded and is CEO of Flashads, which provides digital advertisements on a location-based service within free hotspot areas of Internet provider Biznet Hotspot. He studied at Santa Clara University and is the son of prominent businessman and MidPlaza Holdings founder Rudy Suliawan.

Biologist Luis Rubio González has a PhD and over 15 years of experience as a researcher and consultant in public and private organizations. He also completed an Advanced Studies Certification at the University of Murcia and has a master's in Food Quality and Safety from the Madrid Institute of Training (IMF Business School). In 2019, he became the co-founder and CPO of agroSingularity, a Murcia-based foodtech producing natural powder ingredients from raw materials sourced from wasted agricultural by-products.
