Eminence Ventures was founded in 2017 by former senior executives from Tencent Holdings and Ctrip.com, a Chinese travel services provider. The firm invests mainly in product- and technology-driven startups in the enterprise software and cloud computing fields.

Gazay’s expertise is in engineering and production. He has a decade’s track record in working with any equipment to obtain a robust and repeatable baseline output.Like the other co-founders of Diamond Foundry, Gazay previously worked at Nanosolar, a $640m US-based solar power technology provider, which later folded due to pressure from cheaper competition in China. At Nanosolar, Gazay led the development of its production line, and oversaw the translation of the company’s research into development and baseline production output. Upon the closure of Nanosolar, Gazay joined former Nanosolar CEO Martin Roscheisen and former Nanosolar engineer Jeremy Scholz in pivoting to work on lab-grown diamonds, and in establishing Diamond Foundry.

Irzan Raditya believes that technology should make people’s lives easier. In 2015, the serial entrepreneur co-founded a virtual concierge service YesBoss in Indonesia, now rebranded as Kata.ai.After graduating in Computer Science from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) Berlin in Germany, he co-founded various startups such as Amplitweet, Styyli and superhero-themed clothing line Cape & Fly. He was also the head of mobile products at the food delivery service Lieferando.de and its parent company Takeaway.com. Between 2009 and 2013, Irzan was a bassist and also the international marketing manager for the German band “Not Called Jinx”.

Former journalist Miguel Leite had founded two businesses, Punch and FullFlex Interactive Media, before establishing Tradiio in 2014. The ex-label manager of Universal Music Portugal saw first-hand the challenges faced by emerging artists to make a living from their music. The music platform Tradiio aims to help artists sell their music directly to consumers via paid music downloads.Leite has a master’s in Business Communication from Barcelona's Pompeu Fabra University. He is the founder of blockchain and cryptocurrency research project Coinvision, in addition to co-founding BetProtocol as CMO of the blockchain-powered platform for betting sites.

With 15 years of experience in the Chinese internet industry, Yue Jianxiong was the general manager of Sohu News at the peak of his career, committing years to building it into one of China’s top online news sites. He left Sohu in August 2014.

David Bernabeu Moliner majored in Pharmacy at the University of Valencia, but soon discovered his interest in business that led him to an MBA program at the San Vicente Mártir Catholic University of Valencia, Spain. He then worked as the CEO of Promober in Valencia for 10 years until 2014.One day, after waiting four hours for a delivery, he came up with the idea of a service that would extricate everyone from such unnecessary and unpleasant experiences. In 2015, he founded Citibox that won several awards including one from the Spanish Centre of Logistics CEL in 2017.

Hugo Monteiro is a Portuguese IT Engineer from Universidade de Lisboa. The co-founder and VP Engineering of Spotahome was previously employed at Portugal Telecom and BNP Paribas. He has also worked for startups like UniPlaces in the real estate sector in Lisbon, Portugal.He connected with co-founder Bryan McEire when the latter moved from Spain to work in Lisbon. He was invited to join the Spotahome co-founding team when the proptech was revived by CEO Artacho on his return from London.

Data scientist, linguist and researcher Daniela Braga is the co-founder and CEO of DefinedCrowd. She was previously President and Chief Scientist at the company, and, before that held various data science management positions at VoiceBox Technologies in Bellevue, Washington State. She spent almost seven years as a program manager at Microsoft, also in Bellevue, and has held various positions at the University of Washington, University of A Coruña, Spain, and University of Porto, Portugal.  She has a PhD in Speech Technology from the University of A Coruña and a Master's in Applied Linguistics from the University of Minho, Portugal. 

Born in 1987, Wu became so obsessed with the game Counter-Strike as a high school student his family sent him to Canada to focus on his studies. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Toronto in 2010. After graduation, he worked briefly as a game developer and an auditor in the TMT industry. Before joining Hero Entertainment as co-founder and president, Wu was the youngest vice president in the history of ZhenFund, a Chinese VC firm. From 2012 to 2015, he helped ZhenFund invest in multiple successful gaming projects, including several developed by Hero Entertainment.

Daniela Seixas is the Portuguese-born CEO and co-founder of Tonic App for medical doctors, where she has worked since 2016. She co-founded the company with three fellow students at IE Business School in Madrid during MBA studies in 2015. She was also a neuroradiologist in the Portuguese hospital Vila Nova de Gaia until 2017, when she dedicated herself full time to Tonic App. Seixas is additionally an independent expert on ethics and scientific evaluations at the European Commission and an affiliate professor at the University of Porto, where she studied for a PhD in Neuroscience and lectured in medicine.

Jesus Cano is currently working as a senior engineer at Spanish aerospace manufacturer ITD, with over 20 years of experience in project management, electrical engineering and other roles including the design of Airbus 380 and other aircraft in the UK. Besides the ITD projects with BAE systems, he was also based in France for over three years as a senior design engineer in Toulouse. The aeronautical engineer from Madrid's Polytechnic University became the co-founder and CTO of Unmanned Technical Works (UTW) in 2015. He is also co-founder and deputy CTO of Aventix that provides specialized UTW-related engineering services.
