Founded in 2014, Desun Capital is the largest private investment firm in Sichuan province. With over RMB 1 billion under management, Desun conducts investments across all stages from seed/angel to IPO. It plans to go public in the next five years and become one of the most influential investment firms in China.

Verizon Ventures is the venture capital arm of Verizon Communications, the US's largest wireless provider, established in 2000. It invests from Series A to IPO. Verizon Ventures has made more than 100 investments to date and managed 20 exits, including healthcare diagnostics company NantHealth and P2P video content service Streamroot. Recent investments include holographic lighting technology company Light Field Lab's US$28m Series A round and AI-powered mass transportation technology company Optibus's US$40m Series B round.

Founded in 2014, EVERVC is a platform for startups and investors to seek financing and investing opportunities. As of 4Q2015, EVERVC had helped 170 startups to get investment of over RMB 900 million. It has invested in 40 startups, about 16 of which have received follow-up investment from prominent investors such as Matrix Partners China, NewMargin Capital, JD.com and Zhonglu VC.

Co-founded by Chinese celebrity actor Huang Xiaoming in 2016, Ming Capital focuses on the culture, creative, entertainment and consumption-upgrading sectors. Its first round of fundraising was set at about RMB 500 million. Huang is also the board chairman.

KTB Network is a leading investment firm in South Korea, conducting investments across all stages in South Korea, China and the US. KTB Network is the first South Korean investment firm to enter the Chinese PE/VC market. Since 2000, it has invested in 40+ companies in China.

KapanLagi Network (KLN) is a media company that was co-founded in 2003 by Steve Christian and Eka Wiharto. Originally launched as KapanLagi.com, it was later expanded with the additions of specialist platforms such as the news portal Merdeka.com and football website Bola.net. KLN later merged with the Fimela Network of lifestyle websites in 2014, transforming the group into one of Indonesia’s major online content and media services player. KLN is 52% owned by Singapore’s MediaCorp, with well-known clients like Bank Mandiri, Telkomsel, Allianz and Nestle.

Well-known entrepreneur Yu Minhong and Sheng Xitai, a senior investment banker, co-founded Aplus Capital in November 2014. In November 2017, Aplus Capital formally changed its name to  Hongtai Capital Holdings. By the end of 2018, the assets under its management have amounted to over RMB 20 billion. Hongtai Capital Holdings mainly invests in startups in various stages of growth and focuses on sectors of artificial intelligence, big data, consumer products, entertainment, education, manufacturing and fintech. 

Bunga Citra Lestari is an Indonesian singer and actress who rose to stardom in the mid-2000s with her song “Sunny”. In 2008, she married Malaysian actor Ashraf Sinclair who is also a businessman now based in Indonesia.

Being the first investment group in Zhejiang province to list on the NEEQ market, ZSVC has over 30 funds under its management today, amounting to nearly RMB 40 billion. Founded in 2007, it is the major investor for more than 130 Chinese startups across healthcare, media & entertainment, logistic and advanced manufacturing sectors, with more than 30 successful exits. Headquartered in Hangzhou, it has taken its widely acclaimed “Zhejiang Entrepreneur Experience” to a broader world with subsidiaries in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Shenyang and the Silicon Valley. 

Founded in 2009, Whales Capital is a venture capital firm under Dazheng Group, one of China’s leading coffee making equipment supplier. Right now, Whales Capital manages three funds, including a cultural industries fund that it co-founded with Ximalaya.

CMS Zhiyuan Capital Co Ltd was founded in August 2009. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Merchants Securities, with a registered capital of RMB 2.1 billion. Operating as a private equity firm, it is ranked amongst the top private funds in China with assets under management exceeding RMB 20 billion.

As an early investment fund, Jifu Venture Capital invested in Guangfa Securities, Liaoning Chengda and other companies. It has realized returns of more than 2,000% for its shareholders. Jifu Venture Capital was authorized by the Shenzhen city government in September 2004.

Founded in October 2014 in Hangzhou, Demonow Capital focuses on local early stage internet startups. In order to better serve startups and entrepreneurs, Demonow set up an incubator to provide early stage startups with professional services.

Established in 2014 by Niu Wenwen, chief editor, president and publisher of Entrepreneur magazine, Dark Horse Ventures invests in early-stage startups in the internet, consumption upgrade, pan-entertainment and high-tech fields. Its backers include many well-known founders, institutional and individual investors such as Liu Qiangdong, Yao Jingbo, Wang Changtian, Bobo Xu, Sequoia Capital China, etc.

Founded in 2013, Gaorong Capital is based in Beijing, with an additional office in Hong Kong. It invests primarily in early-stage and growth-stage startups in the TMT sector. Gaorong Capital’s backers include successful entrepreneurs and former investors in other world-class funds. It runs four US$ investment funds, three RMB investment funds and manages around RMB 11 billion.
