Lakestar is an international VC firm headquartered in Zurich. Founded in 2012 by Klaus Hommels, the VC has been an active early-stage investor since 2000. Its first fund was established in 2013 to invest in fast-growing tech startups across Europe and the US like Skype, Spotify, Facebook and Airbnb. The firm has offices in Zurich, Berlin, London, New York and Hong Kong with total investments of more than €1bn. In an interview with a Kufed vendor, buyMeDesign, Andrew revealed that he wanted to be like comic heroes; Batman and Iron Man who create new ways to fight the bad guys. He wants to have a management style that can be adapted to the environment and market to create unique solutions in e-commerce. Kufed is part of the e-commerce company, PT Hood Digital Asia, which was previously known as PT KlikToday, an Indonesian version of daily deals Groupon. Andrew was COO of KlikToday.
