Co-founder and CTO of Halal Local
Nurma Larasati studied Data Communications and Networking at Multimedia University, Malaysia under a full scholarship, graduating in 2014 with a bachelor's degree. She was a research scholar at Multimedia University before returning to Indonesia at the end of 2015, before establishing Astrajingga, the app development company behind travel listing platform Halal Local. Peter Shearer is a marketing communications professional who co-founded of AR&Co, a company under the WIR advertising group, that provides augmented reality-based interactive ads. As WIR's Chief Business Development Officer, he also co-founded DÄV, which creates AI-enabled interactive advertising platforms for FMCG brands in convenience stores. Peter left his position at WIR and its affiliated companies in 2017 to establish Wahyoo, an Indonesian startup that upgrades traditional roadside eateries to boost their owners' incomes.
