He founded 58.com in 2005. He has experience in network marketing, network channel development and domain name strategy. Yao also co-founded Xueda Education Group.

Ventek Ventures is a venture capital firm based in Los Angeles, USA. It focuses on tech investments, particularly in USA, China and Southeast Asia. Seekmi, its first foray in Southeast Asia, joins Ventek’s existing stable of East Asian investments including coding for kids codeSpark, crowdfunding academy ganfund, restaurant cloud services provider Foodomo and mobile creative suite Kdan.  

VIAEight is an advertising company in Indonesia, specializing in custom neon-box advertising boards and other modes of out-of-home advertising. Its products include car decals and train advertisements to neon boxes mounted on motorcycles. It has RMB 20 billion in assets under management. The fund has invested more than RMB 3.5 billion in 40 startups and projects.

Social Capital is a Palo Alto-based venture capital firm. Its stated mission is to "advance humanity by solving the world's hardest problems", with the firm investing in entrepreneurs who markedly improve their communities. Social Capital's diverse portfolio comprises healthcare companies, workplace productivity software Slack and SurveyMonkey and coworking space operator Rework (now GoWork).

XY Capital was co-founded in Hangzhou in April 2018 by former Alibaba CEO Lu Zhaoxi and Tang Yun, a former government official in Hangzhou with a PhD in Computer Science from Tsinghua University. The company set up an RMB investment fund in June 2018 and invests mainly in early-stage tech startups. 

RiverHill Fund is a VC fund launched by one of Alibaba's founders Simon Xie (Xie Shihuang) in Hangzhou in 2014. With Alibaba as its biggest limited partner, RiverHill primarily invests in angel/seed and Series A funding rounds in sectors like AI, big data, O2O retail, entertainment and online education. 

Rolf Schrömgens is best known as the CEO and co-founder of travel marketplace Trivago, where he has worked since 2006. The German entrepreneur is also a prolific early-stage investor.His most recent investments include participation in the €1.15m seed round of fintech StudentFinance and €8m Series A funding for German biotech innes.

The Repsol Foundation, part of the Repsol Group, is committed to improving social and environmental outcomes.Repsol has launched a €50m social investment fund to be used in developing a portfolio of social enterprises focused on energy transition and social inclusion of vulnerable groups in Spain. The firm invested €9,5m during 2018. 

Target Global is an international venture capital firm based in Berlin with offices in London, Tel Aviv and Barcelona.The firm has a total of more than €800m in assets under management, investing mainly in fast-growing tech startups across multiple investment stages and focusing on trillion-euro markets.  

Founded in 2009, Septwolves Venture Capital is a subsidiary of Septwolves Holding Group Co Ltd. The VC firm currently manages assets worth RMB 1bn.Focusing on investment opportunities in the communications and other traditional industries like logistics, Septwolves also invests in diverse sectors including mobile internet, energy, food, pharmaceutical, textile and software.

Smart Delivery Routes is a last-mile delivery startup based in Andalucia and founded in 2017. Its only declared investment has been in Valencian accessibility hardware and app for the deaf, Visualfy, to which it has contributed €520,000 in a 2021 seed funding round. It is also Visualfy’s distribution partner for the Andalucian region.
