Chief Strategist, CTO and co-founder of TurtleTree Labs
Max Rye graduated in computer science at the University of California, Davis, in 2001. Currently based in Berkeley, Rye has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years. He was the CEO of Royal IT from 2003 to 2018 in California. He was also a senior information technology specialist at Mahler Enterprises from 2011 to 2018.In 2019, he set up TurtleTree Labs in Singapore with Lin Fengru whom he had previously met at a Google conference. He became the CTO of TurtleTree Labs with Lin as CEO. In January 2020, he was appointed chief strategist based at the company’s office in San Francisco. In December 2020, he and Lin also co-founded TurtleTree Scientific in Singapore.

He won third place for the Young Professional: Digital category at the Illufest in May 2014. He had worked as a recording engineer and graphic designer, before joining his friends to set up PesanLab, previously known as LabConX.

Cai received a degree in engineering from Université de Technologie de Troyes in 2011. In 2013, he co-founded DreamStorm, which helped like-minded people start businesses, which was acquired by EFactor at a valuation of US$6.5m in 2014. Cai then became a partner at Gewara, a movie ticket booking startup. He left the company after it was acquired by Weiying Times in 2016. In 2017, Cai founded Makaron and has acted as CEO ever since.

Shadow Chi graduated with a bachelor's degree in design from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2008 and received his master‘s degree in computer-aided design from Tongji University in 2013. He specializes in innovative product design and development, and has worked at ZTE Corporation, China Merchants Bank, and ARKIE as product architect and designer. He founded online community MixLab in 2016 and has built it into an interdisciplinary hub for more than 35,000 designers and programmers. After co-founding Get.AI in 2018, he has served as its AI Product Architect.

Prasantyo is the founder of oil and gas services companies Titis Sampurna and Laksel EPS, which have been part of various energy projects in Indonesia. He claims to be the only civilian to have worked as special advisor for Indonesia's Ministry of Defense. Armed with a degree in criminal psychology, he has said he has taken part in interrogations and has provided opinions on terrorist movements. Prior to becoming involved with equity crowdfunding platform, Santara, he also started a gold-backed cryptocurrency called Cyronium, which purportedly supports SMEs through blockchain-based investments.
