CEO and Founder of Fourier Intelligence
Upon graduating from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Mechanics, Alex Gu joined National Instruments, where he worked on data collection, signal processing, instrument testing and system integration. He started developing rehab robots in 2009 and founded Jinghe Robot in 2012. The startup, developer of rehab robot Flexbot, was acquired by rehab device manufacturer QJ Rehab in 2015. Gu founded Fourier Intelligence in July 2015 and has served as CEO ever since.

After working in asset management and due diligence in the renewable energy industry, first in Blue Tree Assets Management and later in Vela Energy, he presented his startup at Santander Bank's Yuzz entrepreneurship program. He won at the local level and was able to travel to Silicon Valley. Subsequent awards encouraged him to focus on Fundeen, where he has been serving as CEO since July 2017.

He also completed an MBA in entrepreneurial and small business operations in Indiana University in 2015.In 2004, he co-founded Torontoist.com, a media website that attracted thousands of views per day. He left the startup to join New Brunswick Telegraph Journal as a reporter for one year before becoming digital managing editor for NOW magazine. In 2013, he went on to work for three years as a senior producer at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).He met Shannon Falconer at a cat rescue project in Toronto. The two pet owners co-founded the biotech Because Animals in 2016 to create more sustainable food for dogs and cats. Errett worked as a marketing manager at Equitable (EQ) Bank before working full-time as COO at Because Animals.

Armed with a professional accreditation in Diamonds and Colored Stones Grading from the Gemological Institute of America, he finally realized his dream of owning a jewelry business, PT Orori Indonesia, in 2002. He launched Orori’s online store in 2006, the first online jewelry store in Indonesia. Encouraged by the success of the online business, he closed down all of the Orori offline stores in 2012 to become a fully online business.

In 2013, he joined PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk and was part of the co-founding team that built the company’s new tech subsidiary that was later branded as Travelio. He left Travelio in 2016.
