CEO and Co-founder of Solatom
Miguel Frasquet Herraiz is passionate about the energy sector, having worked for six years on projects in China, the UAE and several European countries, as well as four years at the CTAER (Advanced Technology Centre for Renewable Energy) as an engineer and solar R&D coordinator. In 2016, Frasquet co-founded Solatom based on his PhD thesis and is currently the CEO of the startup that develops solar concentrators for industrial applications.

Agung Nugroho, a graduate in Chemical Engineering at the Institut Teknologi Bandung in Indonesia, began his career at Jakarta’s Boston Consulting Group in 2008. He was promoted to a consultant role in 2012 but left later that year to embark on an MBA program at the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. In 2014, he co-founded PT Kudo Teknologi Indonesia, an online-to-offline startup. Agung is also a curator at the Global Shapers Community, a youth-centric initiative by the World Economic Forum.

Unbabel's Co-founder and CEO Vasco Pedro is a language technology expert and serial entrepreneur and holds a bachelor’s degree in Language and Knowledge Engineering from the University of Lisbon, and a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Language Technologies from Carnegie Mellon University. While at Carnegie Mellon, he interned at Siemens Medical Solutions and Google. Before co-founding Unbabel, he had co-founded adtechs Bueda and Dezine. André Sousa has a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Porto, but his passion lies in web development and building mobile applications. Sousa enjoys making responsive websites and has been building apps on iOS and Android since 2010.João Magalhães and Sousa co-founded software company Iterar in 2011 and healthtech Knokcare in 2015. Sousa is the mobile developer for both startups.

After graduating in 2008 with a bachelor’s in Computer Science from Purdue University, USA, Hendry Rusli worked for Motorola Solutions as a software engineer for a year before returning to Indonesia to become a software development entrepreneur.In 2014, he started working with a property company PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk that was owned by Christina Suriadjaja’s father. Armed with over eight years of programming and software development experience, Hendry was roped in to help build the Travelio platform for the property group.

He has worked at Citibank, HSBC and Asuransi Syariah Mubarakah before becoming the managing director of oil company PT Ranji Karya Sakti in 2012.In 2013, he founded Eempat Kapital, using the boutique investment and consulting company as a springboard for other ventures including Muslimarket, Rifat Drive Labs, Kurirmart and social media consulting firm Sharkcode Indonesia.

Victor Darmadi is a veteran software engineer who built his career at various German companies and multinational corporations. He worked as an intern for a Daimler-Chrysler subsidiary and Siemens, joining ITC Automotive as a software engineer on graduation. He spent over 10 years at Gracenote, an entertainment data service company acquired by Nielsen in 2017, before returning to Indonesia to join microlending startup JULO. Victor holds a master's degree in Business Computing from the University of Applied Sciences (FHW) Berlin, Germany.

In 2009, he teamed up with fellow developer Sudarmin Then to create their own games under the banner of Toge Productions, creating their first hit, the zombie-themed game Infectonator within its first year. A self-described "data geek and new technology enthusiast," Manggala Ratulangie is the CEO and co-founder of data science service startup Datanest. He was previously an IT engineer and an SAP consultant, and has worked with various companies to build internal-use software. He met Thibaud Plaquet, who would become a co-founder at Datanest, when the two were hired to head a joint-venture between two marketing consultancy companies. After the project wound down, Manggala and Thibaud established Datanest in 2017.
