ClearVue Partners typically invests US$10–50 million in growth-stage startups. Investment deals are spearheaded by a team with experience in the US and Greater China and an advisory group of recognized businessmen from the consumer industry. Its headquarters is in Shanghai.

According to INADEM, Mexico's organization of entrepreneurs, DILA Capital is estimated to hold the largest and most valuable VC deal flows in Mexico. Headquartered in Mexico City and founded in 2004, the firm is dedicated to seed and early-stage investments in Latin American markets. Its latest and third fund saw 800 million pesos (US$41.7 million) invested in regional startups.Banking on a diverse and vast network of partners who are mentors and serial startup entrepreneurs, DILA also supports foreign companies in penetrating and establishing their position in the Mexican market. China Creation Ventures (CCV) was founded in 2017 by Wei Zhou, the former managing partner of KPCB China. Headquartered in Beijing, it invests mainly in early-stage startups in sectors such as finance and TMT. Series A funding accounts for around 70% of total investment. CCV manages USD and RMB funds collectively worth over RMB 3 billion.

Marin Holding Limited is a Cyprus-based holding company, headquartered in Limassol.  Its subsidiary Marin Ship Management focuses on the maritime logistic sector. Founded in February 2007 as a member of Germany's NSC Group in Hamburg, Marin's core activity is to provide crew management services to NSC and other clients. Marin Ship Management has worked with over 50 vessels including Containers, MPC, Con-Bulkers, Bulk carriers, Car carriers, Oil and Chemical tankers worldwide. Managing Director Martina Meinders-Michael has 20 years of experience in the shipping sector.

Adevinta Ventures is the investment arm of the Norway-based Adevinta, a local digital marketplace group operating in 15 countries in Europe, Latin America and North Africa, with 1.5bn monthly visitors. Its leading local brands include Leboncoin in France, InfoJobs in Spain, Subito in Italy and Jofogás in Hungary. In Spain, where its headquarters is in Barcelona, the company includes an umbrella of successful online classified platforms such as Infojobs, Fotocasa, Habitaclia, Milanuncios and Vibbo, counting over 18m active users.Adevinta Ventures invests in startups focused on marketplace and platform space specifically in verticals such as mobility, education and real estate. The fund typically invests in Series A and B rounds backing them also with marketing and data support as well as mentorship. Initial investments go up to €5m with follow-on capacity. 

Early-stage-focused VC firm with a €24m first fund mainly investing in B2B and B2C digital startups headquartered in Spain. Initial investment amounts range between €70,000 and €300,000, and followup investment amounts go up to €1m per company. Describing themselves as “momentum investors” seeking quick time-to-market projects, Encomenda Smart Capital was founded in 2017 and managed by renowned Spanish angel investors Carlos Blanco, Oriol Juncosa and Miguel Sanz Sanchez, along with a network of angel investors  Encomenda supports the growth of startups' portfolios and helps startups to scale at national and international levels. Encomenda invests 30% in SaaS and in projects with a recurring income model; 20% are fintech, and they also bet on the human resources, edtech and healthcare. Just two out of 25 investments have folded up between 2017 and 2020, with half the fund monies committed. Encomenda is seeking to launch a second fund in 2022 focusing on Spanish and Portuguese startups, of €40m–€50m, and multi-stage, by starting in the early-stage investments, with follow-through investments in subsequent stages.

Founded in 2010, TA Ventures is a VC headquartered in Kyiv, Ukraine. Since 2010 the firm invests in companies based in the United States and Europe developing cutting-edge technology startups in the field of digital health, mobility, SaaS and fintech. The fund typically invests in Seed stage with an average ticket size between $250,000 to $500,000 and Series A rounds up to $1mn. The team is based in Ukraine, supporting portfolio startups in building cost-effective R&D Centers in Ukraine.

Accel, formerly known as Accel Partners, is a US venture capital firm,  with its headquarters in Palo Alto, California, and additional offices in San Francisco. It also operates funds for Europe and Israel, with offices in London, UK, and has funds for India and China. It was founded in 1983 and has backed some of the most successful startups including Facebook, Spotify and Dropbox, among hundreds of others.  It typically invests at the Series A and B levels, but can get involved from seed level, and has seen 253 exits from its portfolio to date, across varied market segments.

Headquartered in Beijing, Mingtai Capital was founded in 2013. Its total assets under management has surpassed RMB 15 billion. It invests mainly in the following sectors: Internet of things (Iot), advanced manufacturing, culture, media and medtech.

Bristol Myers Squibb or BMS is one of the world’s largest biopharmaceutical companies developing medicines in oncology, hematology, immunology and cardiovascular disease. It invests directly and via VC funds, including Life Sciences Partners (LSP) and BioGeneration Ventures, as LP. BMS is headquartered in New York and has 10 offices and facilities within the US and 13 in overseas locations, namely, Puerto Rico, Canada, France, Belgium, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Japan and China. 

Data services veteran Huang Haijia was the director of the Chinese government’s first online project in 1998; and the co-founder and former COO of ID5, set up in cooperation with the national police, for online identification checks and involving the digitization of ID data of the 1.3 billion population.  In 2001, Huang founded Guozhengtong, an IT consultancy supporting local governments in their digitization and, subsequently, banks and telcos. He later founded financial data and credit risk management SaaS company Shenzhourong, which he heads as CEO. Huang holds an EMBA from the Central European International Business School. He is also a member of the fifth batch of entrepreneurs from the incubation program of AAMA (Asia America Multi-Technology Association), Silicon Valley's largest non-profit organization dedicated to the Asian American high-tech community.
