Co-founder and CEO of Tanijoy
Nanda Putra had been involved in the agriculture and F&B industries even as a student at Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia. Between 2009 and 2016, he ran his own arabica coffee plantation, opened two small restaurants and was CMO of a mushroom farm. In 2017, a year after graduating with a degree in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture, he started Tanijoy. Originally conceived as an online marketplace for fresh produce, Tanijoy has since pivoted into an agri-investment platform.

Kukuh Budi Santoso graduated from Indonesia’s Universitas Brawijaya with a degree in Agriculture. While at university, he was an active in student organizations such as the IAAS (an international organization of agriculture students) and founded social enterprises. Self-styled “professional trash talker” Olivier Pouillon moved from the USA to Bali, Indonesia in 1994, set on a mission to solve the island’s trash problem. In 2011, after years of waste consultancy and NGO work, he founded Bali Recycling, a company that produces upcycled products and promotes “trash-to-cash” programs to locals. (The company has since been renamed KONO Green Living.) In 2014, he and interior designer Febriadi Pratama started an app-based trash collection service, which later became Gringgo.

He studied for one year at the Aeronautical Business School ITAérea in 2012, working there for almost two years until June 2014. He holds a private pilot license from the European Aviation Safety Agency.The 20-year old Sendra brainstormed the idea of surprise citybreaks “Wayna” while on holiday with two friends in 2013. Since then, Sendra has received several entrepreneurial awards, winning the Young Entrepreneurs National Contest in 2015.
