The China International Capital Corporation (CICC) is China's first joint venture bank, with its HQ in Beijing. CICC was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2015.

Balancop also has offices in Hong Kong and Indonesia.

InnovationRCA is the Royal College of Art’s center for entrepreneurship and commercialization. It supports RCA students, alumni and employees looking to turn their ideas into new businesses. The center was established in 2004 and is based in London.The centre’s activities include providing startup incubation and acceleration services to potential RCA spin-offs. ACA Investments is the Singapore-based affiliate of Asia Capital Alliance, a Japanese investment firm group. The group’s investment focus is on Japan and Southeast Asia, done by combining Japanese intellectual property and Southeast Asia’s growing markets and startup ecosystems. Its investments range from secondhand bookstore Book-Off, F&B brand owner HotLand Corporation (which operates Tsujiki Gindako), and Southeast Asian price comparison site iPrice.ACA Investments is also an affiliate of Japanese investment bank Daiwa Securities Group, which is Japan’s second-largest securities brokerage. In 2018, ACA Group announced that Daiwa Securities Group acquired a 34% stake in ACA Investments as part of a wider strategic alliance between ACA and Daiwa.

WA4STEAM is a not-for-profit organization that provides seed capital with an investment focus on supporting women with projects and ideas applicable to STEAM sectors (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Architecture and Mathematics).The association is composed of women with backgrounds and experiences in biosciences, mathematics, finance, engineering, law, accounting and coaching. Founded in 2017 by the ex-CEO of Credit Suisse bank Gaël de Boissard, 2B Capital is venture capital firm based in London. Its first investment in CrowdProcess Inc and the startup's James risk management platform was as part of a US$2.7-million seed funding in August 2017. The VC primarily invests in fintech and structured credit and mezzanine lending to the new lenders and challenger banks.

Founded in Silicon Valley in 2000 by Kate Mitchell and Rory O'Driscoll, Scale Venture Partners invests in 75% early revenue and 25% growth stage companies, with an average initial investment of US$8 million. It's mainly interested in startups that disrupt the workplace and it usually invests between US$5-25 million per funding round. Shell Foundation is the not-for-profit investment arm of the global energy giant Shell.  Based in London, the foundation was set up in 2000 to invest in social and environmental impact companies, including startups with the potential to reach out to over 10m low-income consumers and achieve financial viability within 10 years. The foundation mainly invests at the pre-seed and seed funding stage and currently has 77 startups in its portfolio. In January 2021, it joined the $790,000 seed round of African agritech social enterprise AgroCenta and also gave a $350,000 grant to sustainable mobility platform Easy Matatu in Uganda.

Mitchell Presser is a New York-based lawyer. He is currently co-chair of global law service Morrison & Foerster’s Global Corporate Department and a partner in the firm’s M&A and Private Equity group, advising on agriculture, amongst other areas. He previously was a founding partner of Paine Schwartz, a US-based $1.2 bn private equity firm specializing in sustainable food chain investing from 2006 to 2014. His sole disclosed angel investment to date was an undisclosed sum in the pre-seed funding of NovoNutrients, the US-based biotech producer of alt-protein from fermentation using CO2 and other emissions, 

DX Ventures is the Berlin-based investment vehicle of on-demand app unicorn Delivery Hero. The VC currently has 12 startups in its portfolio including EU rival Glovo. It also invests in social commerce and on-demand delivery startups in Latin America like Facily and Rappi.Investments in September 2021 include participation in the $43m Series B round of British food-sharing app OLIO and $5m Series A funding round for Toku, a Singapore-based startup and Asia Pacific’s dedicated cloud communications provider. It also invested in Leipzig-based sustainable foodtech, the nu company, that produces vegan chocolates and organic proteins.

Founded in 1999, Huaxin Century is an investment firm specializing in real estate development and project management.

Launched in 2007, 2bpartner is a venture capital firm created by the Minho regional business association (AIMinho) and several private investors and companies. The VC invests through the Minho Inovação e Internacionalização fund that was launched in 2011 and co-financed by COMPETE and private investors. DST Group became its major shareholder in 2012.
