Columbia graduate Iman Usman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Universitas Indonesia (UI) and a Master of Arts in International Education Development from Columbia University. While studying at UI, Iman was on the Dean's list for three consecutive years and received bond-free scholarship covering full tuition. Iman had worked at Nutrifood as Special Consultant for Creating Shared Value and interned at Change.org.Iman also founded InspireCast, an online platform producing weekly audio podcasts of various inspiring stories from across Indonesia and the Indonesian Youth Parliament.Iman was born in 1991.

After six years of building innovative products and new businesses in Singapore and India, Nigel Hembrow has made Indonesia his home and headquarters for Astronaut Technologies, his latest venture in HR tech. Hailing from Australia, Queensland civil engineer Nigel started out in project management and engineering design for construction company Mace. After an MBA from the University of Melbourne in 2009, he worked at The Great Little Water Company and Amida Recruitment. Nigel is also currently a director at Rayjon Group, a family-owned property investment and development conglomerate that was co-founded by managing director John Hembrow in 1976.

Todd Schweitzer is an experienced economic and management consultant who founded Brankas, a payment processing platform for startups and other businesses. Between 2007 and 2010, Schweitzer worked with the US Peace Corps as a community economic advisor in the Dominican Republic. He then joined Strategy&, a subsidiary of PwC, as an engagement manager before leaving in 2015 for a brief stint at Seawood Resources, a Philippines-based investment company.Todd holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of California, Irvine and a master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University.

The co-CEO and co-founder of Billin, Marcos de la Cueva Orbe is a graduate from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He joined PwC as an auditor in 2009 and worked there for 18 months before becoming an associate at Nplusone, part of the Alantra global investment banking and asset management firm based in Madrid. He left after over 3 years to join Billin in April 2014.

While working on his master's in Software Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University, Zhao founded an ebook-sharing site that gained over 200,000 users in one year. After graduating, he worked as a developer at telecom equipment maker Huawei from 2008 to 2015. In 2012, Zhao created yunweipai.com, China's first nonprofit online community to provide IT maintenance advice. In 2015, he resigned from Huawei and launched Makebang, a software crowdsourcing platform. Recognizing the limited growth potential of the industry, Zhao sold Makebang in 2017. In 2017, he co-founded Tiantian Xuenong with Yan Zitong, a friend from university, and became its CEO.

A US national by birth, Chad Pittman is currently based in Sao Paulo, as a co-founder and Head of User Success at Sheetgo.  He had previously worked as an investment manager at Abramar Construtora in Brazil that was run by co-founder Yannick Rault van der Vaart.Pittman worked at CRC Homes in Los Angeles until 2011, after spending eight years as an engineer at Boeing in California. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the University of California and went on to the University of Southern California to read an MBA in Corporate Finance and a master's in Real Estate Development.

In April 2013, Jorge Pinto became the Head of R&D, CIO and Co-founder of BEEVERYCREATIVE . He was also a co-founder and Head of R&D at bitBOX Electronic Systems that was pivoted into BEEVERYCREATIVE in 2013.Pinto is also working as a software and firmware developer at German startup BFO Mobility and at an international open-source project for Chinese startup Ebike Motor Controllers. He was previously employed as an electronics engineer at Portuguese firmware company Tetracis Plurirede and energy company Aveicabo. Pinto has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Aveiro, Portugal. 

Former Go-Jek operations manager Wisnu Nugrahadi has embarked on his own entrepreneurial journey, establishing gig marketplace app Sampingan in 2018.  After a brief stint as an intern at Uber Indonesia where he was part of the company's Bandung launch team, Wisnu joined on-demand transportation company Go-Jek in June 2015. He was promoted to head of operations for Go-Life (the lifestyle services arm of Go-Jek) within a few months of joining, after which he became senior operations manager in 2017. Wisnu graduated with a bachelor's in Business Administration from Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia in 2015. 

Pandu Kartika Putra is a co-founder of smart retail kiosk startup Warung Pintar and was its interim product manager until he left the company in August 2018. Pandu was briefly an associate for civic projects at East Ventures before establishing Warung Pintar with East Ventures colleague Agung Bezharie Hadinegoro in 2017. Pandu is currently focused on Code for Bandung, an initiative that promotes collaboration between citizen coders and the municipal government. Pandu holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia and had worked as a network administrator at his alma mater for two years.

Liu Yixun graduated from the School of Science and Technology of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. While studying in the university, he interned at Alibaba for about a year around 2011 and started a company to create software for lighting manufacturers in Zhongshan, a city famous for lamp production. After graduation, he worked at Tencent's e-commerce and Tenpay department as a product manager. He resigned from Tencent in 2014 and found DuduBus in 2015, serving as CEO since then. 

In 2012, after graduating from Shanghai University, Zhao joined Huawei as an algorithm scientist, where he was in charge of a number of AI projects. He left Huawei in 2017 and launched Makaron with his college roommate Cai Tianyi. Based on his research at Huawei, Zhao created the neural network ConceptNet, which Makaron uses to quickly and precisely recognize objects in photos. In addition to serving as CTO of Makaron, Zhao also leads the SJTU-Versa Brain Science and AI Lab established by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Makaron's parent company Versa.

Luis Portela Afonso is a Portuguese co-founder and iOS programmer at YouClap, where he has worked since early 2017. Previously, he worked as a software developer at Mindera in Porto, and as an iOS developer at WIT-Software and MeshApp. He holds a Master's in Computer and Telematics Engineering and a first degree from the University of Aveiro, where he also worked at the Alumni Organization after completing his studies. Nelson Pereira graduated in Graphic and Industrial Design at Aveiro University in 2005 and obtained a master’s in Engineering Design from the University of Porto in 2009. He also spent a year studying Digital Communications and Multimedia at the University of Porto in 2012.He has worked as a designer and brand manager for INEGI Porto for over nine years until 2015. He founded his first enterprise TOP Research in 2012 that later evolved into TOPDOX. Pereira currently works for Dropbox and Xpand IT. He is also co-founder and CEO of ikuTeam, a file-sharing developer for Atlassian Marketplace.  

Since his graduation in Lisbon as a computer engineer in 1999, Nuno Rodrigues has worked as a software engineer, solutions architect and business transformation manager for various companies including Amdocs, Vodafone, Hewlett-Packard, Zapp, Jazztel and CGI-AMS. His diverse roles led him to work overseas in Poland, Belgium, Germany and the Czech Republic.In May 2015, Rodrigues joined his wife and Doinn co-founder Noelia Novella to focus on building the housekeeping services platform as CIO and chief product officer. Since 2016, he has also been working as a lead business support system analyst for Belgian telco Telenet.

Joaquín Guanter Gonzálbez, also known as Ximo, is a co-founder and former CTO of Coinffeine, a P2P bitcoin exchange platform backed by Bankinter .He has a degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPC) with a specialization in Language Theory and AI.  For more than six years he worked as a Software Developer at Microsoft and since 2012 he's been working for the R&D department at Telefónica. His expertize and interests are focused on programming languages, AI and statistics.
