Willy Haryanto has a degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, USA and a master’s in Information Technology from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He acquired computer programming and software development skills as a manager for telecommunications company Indosmart between 2006 and 2009.After his master’s, he co-founded food delivery website Klik-Eat with fellow Purdue graduate Michael Saputra. They sold the company and went on to establish meal subscription startup BlackGarlic, where he serves as CTO.

Olivia Wongso is a serial restaurateur and chef. As the daughter of celebrity chef William Wongso, she was exposed to the culinary arts at a young age. Armed with a mass communication degree from Curtin University, she worked in public relations in 2002 at her father’s company William Gourmet Catering. She went on to manage various restaurants and conducted cooking courses prior to joining BlackGarlic in 2015. Olivia is also a member of the International Wine Society.

Angelo Syailendra is a veteran in business analysis and investment. After earning a bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering with summa cum laude from the University of Michigan in USA, he went to Stanford University to read a master’s in Economics and Finance. He worked as an analyst and associate in companies such as Morgan Stanley and Affinity Equity Partners. He also helped to establish foodtech startups Klik-Eat and BlackGarlic. Angelo is currently a director at a data centre company DCI Indonesia.

Dimas Harry Priawan made the switch from engineering to work at e-commerce solutions firm aCommerce when he returned to Indonesia, after pursuing a master’s in Environmental and Energy Management at the University of Twente in the Netherlands.The Electrical and Electronic Engineering graduate from Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University had also previously worked as a device engineer for ST Microelectronics. He is now CEO of Dekoruma which he co-founded with fellow NTU graduate Aruna Harsa.

After graduating with an Industrial Engineering degree from Purdue University in the US, Sean DeWitt became a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He later worked at the US Department of State and the Fund for New York City.In 2007, he joined the nonprofit Grameen Foundation that was established by Grameen Bank founder Muhammad Yunus. As part of the nonprofit, he helped Aldi Haryopratomo establish the social enterprise Ruma.  DeWitt currently works for the World Resource Institute. He also holds master’s degrees in Development Finance and Environmental Economics from the University of London.

After graduating as a doctor at Universitas Katolik Atma Jaya in Indonesia, Agnes Susanto joined Atoma Medical as operations manager in 2011. She completed a master’s in Public Health, Hospital and Healthcare Facilities at the Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in 2016. She also co-founded ProSehat, a medical e-commerce startup as an offshoot of Atoma Medical.

Self-confessed geek and chess lover João Pedro Ribeiro holds a master’s degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Minho. His master’s thesis project in developing a 3D modeling application for orthopedic surgeons became the base of PeekMed.

University of Minho graduate Jaime Campos holds a master’s degree in Computer Science. Campos is currently developing a novel algorithm at his alma mater while serving as CTO of the company he co-founded, PeekMed.

Software engineer Jaime Jorge holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico. Before co-founding Codacy, Jorge was a research associate at INESC-ID and a software engineer at Instituto Superior Técnico.

Armed with a master’s in Business Administration and Computer Science from the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, João Romão is looking to change the way companies and audiences interact with social media and social networks. His experience includes consulting stints around Portugal at AIESEC and Novabase Consulting and as the CEO of Wishareit, a Lisbon-based social shopping platform. In 2013, Romão founded GetSocial, a social analytics and content automation platform that helps marketers and publishers measure, promote and amplify their best work.

A master’s degree holder in Computer Engineering from the Instituto Superior Téchnico, Nuno Rochinha began delving into the world of web development during his college days when he learnt to code in HTML, CSS and JS. From there, Rochinha worked as a web developer in companies such as Sonaecom and Excentric. He co-founded GetSocial in 2012 and was the startup’s CTO from 2012 to 2015. Today, Rochinha is a senior developer at Runtime Revolution.

With a master’s in Commerce and Finance, Marshall Utoyo quickly founded a financial services firm Utoyo & Partners in November 2010. An entrepreneur at heart, he left the firm in January 2013. He had already co-founded a furniture business FASA Works and a coworking hub Conclave in 2012. He exited both in March 2015. The Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) graduate returned to the furniture business as a co-founder of Fabelio. Launched in June 2015 with seed funding of US$500,000, the e-commerce furniture company has also secured US$2 million in Series A funds in 2016.
