Co-founder and CEO of eFishery
Gibran Huzaifah ran a composting business and a catfish farm while reading a degree in Biology at Institut Teknologi Bandung in Indonesia. After graduating in 2012, he teamed up with fellow ITB alumnus Chrisna Aditya to establish an aquaculture tech firm PT Multidaya Teknologi Nusantara, aka Cybreed. In 2013, it launched eFishery, an automatic feeder system for aquaculture farms. In 2017, Gibran’s achievements earned him a spot on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list of notable Asian figures.

David Bernabeu Moliner majored in Pharmacy at the University of Valencia, but soon discovered his interest in business that led him to an MBA program at the San Vicente Mártir Catholic University of Valencia, Spain. He then worked as the CEO of Promober in Valencia for 10 years until 2014.One day, after waiting four hours for a delivery, he came up with the idea of a service that would extricate everyone from such unnecessary and unpleasant experiences. In 2015, he founded Citibox that won several awards including one from the Spanish Centre of Logistics CEL in 2017.

Agile and SCRUM work strategies were implemented in Waynabox, leading to a 50% improvement in SEO organic traffic. Blanché is now a board member and chief product officer for Waynabox. He has also just started a Computer Engineering degree at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in 2018.

He was also a teaching professor of the Influencers Campaign Management and Brand Ambassadors program developed by the USJ in collaboration with Socialnautas. In 2014, he became the CEO and co-founder of Influencity.

Alcoverro graduated from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) with a master’s in Advanced Computing, Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality as well as PhD in Telecommunication Engineering. He is the author of several papers in international peer-reviewed journals on computer vision, computer graphics and 3D data processing.

He had previously worked at Moon Tools as a project manager. He was also a technology manager at Abramar Construtora. Both companies were run by fellow co-founder Yannick Rault van der Vaart.

He obtained his PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in Microelectronics and Electronic Systems, joining the Computer Science department in 1984 where he held an associate professor position until 2007. Between 2005 and 2016, Ferrer was the director of the Space Studies and CERES Research Center at the same university. He was also deputy director at the Catalan Space Studies Institute (IEEC) and is a researcher at the National Microelectronics Center's Barcelona Microelectronics Institute.
