Yang Kaikai graduated in 2013, majoring in English Language and Literature at Shanghai Ocean University.In March 2016, she joined Tencent Incubator to work as a marketing and business development manager. In 2019, Juanfra Abad Navarro became the CEO and co-founder of agroSingularity, a Murcia-based startup producing natural powder ingredients from wasted agricultural by-products.The graphic and product designer has led multiple international innovation projects at the Catholic University of Murcia and at the European Business Factory. He also co-founded and headed Innovarligero for over nine years, facilitating innovative agile processes for agrifood SMEs. Navarro was selected as one of 10 brilliant Murcian entrepreneurs to join the executive training programs of the Advanced Leadership Foundation (ALF). Through AFL, he had the opportunity to meet former US President Barack Obama during the Summit of Technological Innovation and Circular Economy held in Madrid in 2018.

She also spent time in Brazil at the Spanish Chamber of Business and Industry, and at Henkel in San Francisco, working in business intelligence and marketing. She holds a degree in Business Management from Carlos III University of Madrid.

Max Rye graduated in computer science at the University of California, Davis, in 2001. Currently based in Berkeley, Rye has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years. He was the CEO of Royal IT from 2003 to 2018 in California. He was also a senior information technology specialist at Mahler Enterprises from 2011 to 2018.In 2019, he set up TurtleTree Labs in Singapore with Lin Fengru whom he had previously met at a Google conference. He became the CTO of TurtleTree Labs with Lin as CEO. In January 2020, he was appointed chief strategist based at the company’s office in San Francisco. In December 2020, he and Lin also co-founded TurtleTree Scientific in Singapore.

In 2013, the duo co-founded Plastic Bank in 2013 to launch a “Social Plastic” movement to reduce ocean plastic and set up recycling centers to create jobs to improve the livelihood of locals in under-served coastal villages. The Canadian co-founder is now the CTO of Plastic Bank. In 2014, he also became an advisor at HeroX, a social network for innovation with over 2m members.

Co-founder of VUE Vlog, Li Zaolu graduated from Beijing University of Technology in computer science although she was more interested in business management. In Wandoujia, she led the business development team to bring in new users. Some 700,000 new users started to use the app everyday compared to only 10,000 a day when she started. He was also an associate at private equity firm HIG Capital for a year and founded NACUE, the UK’s leading membership organization for engaging students in enterprise. Grech is British and is also the founder of Nottingham Entrepreneurs in 2007 which he also presided over until 2009. He was CEO at Uniplaces until 2018 when he left the post and became Non-Executive Chairman.

By the time he reached high school, he was earning money writing software for local businesses in Balikpapan in the East Kalimantan province. He decided to read Law at Universitas Gadjah Mada, but during his time in university he also ran a software development house. After graduating with a bachelor's degree, he returned to East Kalimantan and worked for a local newspaper before starting his own in 2006. Between 2006 and 2017, Hilman also founded a digital marketing company catering to local businesses and briefly worked as a big data consultant for PLN, Indonesia's state-owned power company. He exited all his roles in late 2017 to begin work on Arkademi, a new Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) platform.
